Please do help!

We are hitting 8 months in 5 days. My fiance called the USCIS today and was told that we will be expecting an approval in 2 weeks.

Anybody got the same response from USCIS?

We've been pending adjudication for almost 6weeks.

Is it true that we are gonna get petition approved as what they've told us?

Hello,

USCIS respoded to my congressman that i was going to receive approval in 1 or 2 weeks.....which i did receive my NOA2 on the 2nd week. :luv: My friend's congressman had a response from USCIS too that she will be receiving her NOA2 in 10 days...which she did.....so there's a chance you will too!!

Really??? Oh thank goodness!!!

congratulations to you and thank you so much for responding. I was so worried that they might just wanted us to shut up and gave us false hope.

Now, I can go to sleep calmly without having to tear up!

Thank you so much!

Praying and hoping it will happen!

we called to USCIS since we were 7 months and 2 days since our NOA 1. We did write to our congressman (we dont know if it helped) but USCIS lady said to expect our NOA 2 my Wednesday July 30th. If we dont hear from them to call back again (she said to my fiance that she sees in the system that they scheduled our case to be approved by Wednesday. So we got our NOA 2 by tuesday (1 day before). Our congressman office let us know first by sending us an e-mail saying that we got approved. However our status on web-site was changed only in the evening. So, i think if USCIS says it is gonna be approved then it seems it is going to. However, I would suggest to call USCIS (you have full right to request some information from them, do not waste your time on Customer service guy, just ask him to transfer you to a tier 2 officer). The CS guy was rude, and my fiance was very strict and said he has a right to talk to TIER 2 officer and no more talking.

I hope it helps!!! good luck with that!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey prior to approval. I am so relieved with your reply and Katiuska. USCIS told my fiance to expect the NOA2 in 2 weeks. I prayed and hope that this will be the right time. Just getting paranoid about the whole system.
