Hello all,

I wanted to write the forum and see if I could get some advice on how to proceed with our petition to remove conditions after receiving an RFE. The RFE basically states that we didn't provide enough information of having a good faith marriage. We feel we have given all the information that we have. Due to a financial hardship that we have experienced over the last two years we are limited on what dept we can take on to "prove our relationship". This is what we can provide.

We have;

a joint checking account.

utilty bills with both our names and address on it

3 years of tax returns filed jointly

3 credit cards with me as the primary card holder and my spouse as additonal card holder.

I have a 401K benefit listing my spouse as the benefiary

The mortgage is in my name only.

Affidavits from friends and or family

This is all the information that we have. So where do we go from here?

Thank you.

How about life insurance, health insurance, pictures, adding your wife's name in the mortgage, vehicle registration and insurance with both your names in it..

Hello,

Thank you for the replies. We initially provided the following;

Partial Copies 2013 Tax Returns filed jointly

Partial Copy of Bank Statements from our joint checking account

Copy of 401K Statement showing my spouse as benefiary

Copies of Credit Cards in my wifes names she is an additional card holder but they are not joint accounts.

Copy of a Utility Bill with both of our names.

I plan on sending;

All Bank Statments from the Date the my wife was added to the account.

Transcripts of all jointly filed Tax returns filed since our Marriage in 2010

Pictures of our wedding

pictures of a trip we took

Affidavit from at least 2 friends that we have regular contact with.

Unfortunatey, I cannot add my wife to the mortgage at this time because we recieved mortgage assistance that will require repayment if I make the change in the next three years.

Hopefully, this will be enough information. I can see pretty clearly that I didn't provide enough initial evidence when we filed. I appreciate any advise. Thank you.

You don't have to send ALL the bank statements. 3 or 4 per year of marriage is good enough.

IRS Transcripts are preferable to tax return form copies.
