A better country than the USA? Where is that? immigration is a privilege as far as I know. I didn't have a " speedy " adjudication but didn't feel anyone was discriminating against me. Why would the U S govt do that? How would they know who to go after? Is that what is going on in your case? How do we figure out if its just simple discrimination?

Jannelle admits she is or was part of the discrimination and did nothing about it. She helped them it seems. However that experience may help others understand there are people like her doing what she was part of. I really didn't want to believe people would do that but she admits it happens. I wonder if she ever contacted anyone to disclose what she knew and took the fifth?

I did not help them at all. Why would I do that? Why would you say that?

My husband and I lived together in two other countries before I moved back to the U.S. and filed his application. We have been together over 4 years but he still has no visa.

I started to go after them once we kept looking at the money my husband was spending on my visits to Sri Lanka. It was ridiculous. December 2013 was 423,000 rupees.

I contacted two Senators in my state. They received the AP email back. I filed a complaint with DOS, I received the AP email saying that the embassy hasn't finished their administrative review and then I went to the consulate twice, and received the AP speech and was asked stupid questions like, what language do you and your husband communicate in? Japanese, it was on our app and my letter explaining how we met. Why are you going to Malaysia? Thuh! Vacation. Then they told me he was still in AP. Stupid irrelevant questions.

But, people have their prejudices and sometimes don't let go of them. It is hard for a consulate manager to tell the visa officer they are wrong when adjudicating an application. So, they just let the application sit and collect dust.

A better country than the USA? Where is that?

Everyone here wants to move to the USA. There are however many countries that beat the US on wealth per person, jobs market, education, healthcare to name but a few points.

Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe are all very sought after places for immigration and all manage to process spouse visas far quicker than the US.
