Hi chitwse,

so sorry that i didnt reply you since. The communications I have received from NVC apart from NOA1 and NoA2 are welcome letter containing AOS fee invoice (it was sent to my husband and me). I also received an email when AOS was paid on the 6th of August. submitted ds261 form.

Right now, I have not been invoiced for IV fee nor have access to Ds260.

I am still trying to gather my AOS and IV packages (experiencing this delay because of my police certificate)

I hope this helps.

the dilemma i have now is im 7months pregnant, pd april 2014.

Wow, congratulations to you and your spouse.

I can understand your dilemma since your pd is going to be current soon and chances are you may or may not (50/50) have delivered before your interview day.

I would advice (i dont have any facts however) continue with the process because from my enquiries so far, NVC can't do anything until the baby is born. If baby is born before interview date, pls get a passport for the baby and go along with it. Also inform NVC that you are pregnant.

I am also in this situation and I may have been delivered of my baby before my pd (Aug 2014) becomes current (depending on Visa bulletin's movement). However, I am just beginning NVC stages so I chose to take my steps one day at a time.

I hope this helps. Relax and enjoy your visa journey. Don't stress out too much.

i would also follow ur timeline to get more information regarding what steps you take.

Hi Everyone,

Please I need a quick confirmation here (pls don't tell me to go read Saylin's wiki on nVC process cos I have read it countless times)....

I have paid my AOS fees on the 6th of August. trying to get AOS and IV packages sent. How long would it take for my IV fee to be invoiced and for me to acess ds260

Also my husband read somewhere that it takes 4 to 6 weeks after AOS payment to get IV fee invoiced but I know it is not true from following this blog.

Can I get a specific answer from anyone pls.....

Thank you

Hi,

Dont wait for IV FEE. As soon as you got the Welcome letter, you are free to send your package. But People used to send once they pay AOS fee. NVC will not see your document as soon as you send it. It will take minimum 25 days for them to touch your file, during that time you can complete IV FEE , DS260 everything.

When they review your document, they will check if you have paid your fees and filled DS260 and review that as well.

If at all they review your document and your DS-260 is not available, then they will send a checklist for it. To start the clock early, you have to send your documents early.

In this NVC process, we need to wait for everything, so better we dont delay from our end.

I strongly suggest everyone to get your documents ready and send it. Also make sure you have a very detail cover letter. If you are sending any alternate document even as per NVC guidelines make sure you mention it. All the best with the process.
