Lol you are bad Apple 21 me i ll say 5 months because California center so far respect their time frame so around june. Once you get your NOA2 it ll be transfer to NVC . Once you done with NVC so case complète you have to wait for your PD To be current ... It s very long and stress full so good Luck ! Me i just get transfer to NVC and i don t Know if after They wait for PD to be current to start to study the case or They do it Until case complète and wait for PD to be current???

Then you ll receive an IL interview letter (medical examen complete you go to your apponitment) then done hopefully visa in the pocket . We have 6 months from the medical visit to get in USA. Finally !!!!! It s long way ...

NVC do not start processing untill pd becomes current or the status is upgraded from f2a to cr1/ir1. I was approved on sep 2, 2014 and nvc recieved my case on sep 16. My case was pending since then until recently when it got upgraded from f2a to cr1 as my husband naturalized on nov 26. Finally I was able to fill up ds261 and pay aos fees on jan 20, 2015.

Do not understand the logic behind this waiting though. :no:

@ Ritbiv Okay I feel bad because my husband overstayed with me and now iam stuck in F2a he can apply for naturalization around January 2016 so which means kind the same time of F2 a visa process ll end. That s why iam hoping a big jump this year ....

So you are done since you became IR or CR iam glad for you congratulation!
