Timeline

Hello,evryone,my Pd was ApriL 8 2014 my case was routes to Nerbraska Service center,Is still dnt make sense to me is almost 4months I check my case statuse still at inintial review,pls is anybody in the house no wot is goin on or shld I coll d usCIS?pls help

Hi, it takes 5 to 6 months for processing at the Nebraska center, however they have been transferring applications to California in order to meet the 5 months estimated time per USCIS. As of now they are processing end of January and for some that have been transferred to California, they are working on Feb.

My pd is also April 14' my wife call uscis yesterday to confirm what is going. They told us to be patience . So let be..

My pd is 7 march 14 am almost in my 5 month now but is not easy to be all that patience But i pray that God will work his work out.

From what I have been reading it is taking an average of 6 months to process at all the service centers. The 5 month timeline that USCIS likes to tout is pretty much a myth. Unless you have been expedited or are one of the lucky random ones that are processed in a timely fashion (and there are not very many of those), best to count on 6 months and if you haven't received your NOA2 by then, start with the calling. Calling before 6 months is up nowadays seems to be a waste of time. USCIS is telling folks to wait another month after the 5 month mark.
