It can really vary for some people, my spouse received hers in less than a month. I wouldn't know what the average waiting times are currently. Did you pay the immigrant $165 fee before entry? If so I would check on the status on your uscis elis account and check the receipt number to see if the card is processing yet. If the status isn't available or hasn't been updated you can call customer service. They may be able to give you an idea on how long it is taking.

What is your status in the ELIS system ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

That would explain why you haven't received your green card. You should check with your spouse to see if he paid it for you. The immigrant fee of $165 is a relatively new fee that USCIS charges for the production of your green card. This fee has to be paid after you have your immigrant visa and before you enter the US. Since it looks like you didn't pay the fee, you can pay it now and your green card can begin to be processed. I'm not sure how long it takes after you pay the fee, since you didn't pay it before entering the country.

They dont asked me the $165.00 what is that for?

Here is a pdf link to explain about the immigrant fee as well as a link to the uscis elis site.

Again, find out with your spouse because it's possible he may have paid it and didn't tell you or doesn't remember. If he didn't then the steps to pay the fee are in the links provided. Hope this helps!

Sorry about the confusion, but you didn't specify that in your first post. The $230 that you paid was for the immigrant visa your mother used to enter the US and apply for permanent residence. The $165 fee is a different fee that is paid to USCIS, not the NVC and it is required in order to process your mother's green card. They will not issue her a green card until the fee is paid. In the links I provided earlier is the info relevant to the fee and how to pay it. I'm sorry that you were somehow unaware of this part, but that is the process.

This is for my mother. The last thing i remember i paid $230 for the visa.

Well that's why I provided you with the links so you could verify that info for yourself. You can read it about it here on one of the guides as well as do a google search on it. You can call in, but they will just reiterate what I explained. Good luck anyway.

No body said anything that i have to pay $165.00 or any instruction that the immigrants needs to pay $165.00 for the green card.
I will call them tomorrow just to verify. Because i am not aware about this.

I didn't say you couldn't call in. I only said that they would repeat the same info I explained to you or that you can read up on it online.

What is wrong if i call the uscis. Nothing can stop me.

He's trying to help. If you don't want help from people here, don't ask questions here, and complain when they try to help.

As mentioned, after the visa is issued, there is a fee that is required to be paid to USCIS for the green card to be processed. It says on the embassy websites and the USCIS site that it should be paid before leaving for the us, but if its not paid before POE, its OK, but the green card will not be processed before the fee is paid. The links above have more info, or, if you wish you can call and get the same info from a rude customer service person on the phone.

Copied from manlias website:

New USCIS Immigrant Fee

Effective February 1, 2013, all individuals issued immigrant visas overseas must pay a $165.00 USCIS Immigrant Fee before traveling to the United States.

You asked a question, you have answers, you don't want to believe what you have been told, fine, go figure it out yourself. When you act like you have on this thread, you ruin your chances of getting help when you need it next time.
