So DACA was really just the beginning. Now thanks to this plan, they'll be tens of thousands of children showing up at the border WITH their parents.

Precisely. And the more this news spreads, the bigger the flood at the border. This country already has enough problems.

That DACA thing was just a smoke screen anyway. Anyone who believes that they were just going to keep giving them an endless stream of 2 year EADs is foolish. It's always been about legalizing them all the way to citizenship and on to the voting booths.

I wonder what two of Obama's biggest support groups, black Americans and unions, are going to think about this. This will surely drive down wages as well as bring more competition for lower wage jobs. I bet the corporations are loving this. They have a whole new group of people to pay low wages to, and then screw them at the same time because they have no credit.

I am truly amazed they are floating this trial balloon, it was the last thing I thought I would see Obama do... Seems guaranteed to cause more mass movement to the border.

Look how much movement it's created already. Every time a hint of this comes out more people will come. They all think they can show up and be good to go. If this becomes reality, it's time for this administration to go. This is a cold, hard slap in the face to everyone who has ever immigrated here legally. We have people here who have been in AP for over a year and now MS-13 gang bangers can stay legally? Total BS.

I wonder how much it would move wages up if 12 million people left the work force. I bet money the min wage issue would not be an issue any longer.

This policy basically proves that they want folks coming here illegally. They saw what happened because of DACA, and this policy change will make the migration of the last couple months look like trickle of people. I can't think of any reason except a political reason to do this.

I really wanted to think otherwise, but it does seem like it is political. Again, what about the people at VJ who have waited and waited for AP and waivers, spent $10,000+ with lawyers etc and gave up a couple of years of their lives to get slapped in the face and kicked in the balls by something like this? There should be outrage.

Even the people that don't have AP or required waivers. It took a year to get my wife here with no AP or waiver. Now these folks are just going to march across the border.

It's not right. And We, The People need to stand up against it. The border needs to be sealed tighter than a bullsass at fly time, and then do something about the illegals already here. I agree with LIB, then have a process to give them LPR status, no citizenship and no right to vote. That would be a gift on the grandest of scales. But Washington wouldn't like the non voting part.
