I received my NOA2 and I want to apply for my Tourist visa(B) since I dont have my ESTA anymore to go visit my fiance before the k1 interview.
If I get denied, will this affect my k1 case?
Also, if I go to to the US and my entry is refused, how does it work to fly back to my country? Will I have to pay for the ticket?

January 8th, 2014: I-129f petition sent to Lewisville, TX lockbox
January 16th, 2014: NOA1
July 21st, 2014: NOA2

August 5th: NVC left

August 7th: Consulate in Naples received

August 12th: Packet 3 received

September 2nd: Packet 3 sent

September 5th: Packet4 received

September 17th: interview approved

A B-2 denial (which is highly likely) won't affect the K-1.

It would be unusual to obtain a B-2 and then have CBP refuse you entry, but they certainly have that power.

Just be aware that you're probably not getting the B-2.
