Unless your case is beyond the 5 month processing time they like to hit, your case isn't delayed. Maybe CSC is slowing down but cases there aren't being delayed, you aren't even remotely close to being able to file a service request about your case. Just be thankful for an approval before 5 months if you get it. We all want(ed) a fast approval but expecting one incredibly quick based on other approvals is setting yourself up for disappointment. Expect 5 months & be grateful for anything quicker.

Yup. That's how we approached the entire VISA process: we always expected the longest time estimate given, we always prepared the maximum information wanted. We approached it like a video game on hard setting (even though in reality we probably had an "easy" setting). And ya know what? It got done fast, compared to what we were prepared for.

Expect the maximum times, delight if you get something earlier.

LOL You guys crack me up!.. I saw the name change earlier because her very first post changed to the new name. Everyone here at VJ is so ready to respond and help each other out with whatever we may be stressing or worried about. No one should take that for granted or be rude! Cheers!

That was my whole point yesterday. On a site where we all share the same relative experience, I cannot understand the need to be condescending to anyone. It's just not necessary. This journey has tried all of us, & yet we're still on it. It's a long journey. I'm thankful to this site & to all the helpful people that exist on it, who volunteer their time to be here to answer questions.

There are definitely delays at California Service Center. :clock:

I got NOA1 on May 30th and haven't heard anything back yet. It will be 2 months tomorrow since we've been waiting. I keep seeing more and more people that filed in April and May not getting a very fast approval (1 month or so) at CSC.

My timeline at first said "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 23, 2014 and June 28, 2014*." Now it's changed to "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between July 5, 2014 and July 13, 2014*".

CSC is definitely getting a bit slower when it comes to processing petitions. I

Oh come on! A delay would be outside of the processing times of 5 months. You have been waiting since MAY. You've only been waiting 2 MONTHS.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

I am sure this whole thing was a non-issue that turned into more than it needed to, with both "sides" (lol) being guilty to some extent. Remember many of us were all naive and confused and clueless about this process at some point in time, with VJ being the only rock and info source to go on. And it is really easy to get caught up in an internet flame war, because as noted above, text does not convey tone and we interpret things based on how we feel and how we think the poster feels. Then things escalate and people say and do things that they would normally not, based on what they think someone else is thinking. I am just as guilty - been there done that.

I am sure the original post was not written with some hidden agenda or vendetta, but it has escalated into another pointless CSC vs TSC thread, and should prob report for thread closure.

And yes, It is unfortunate that some people wait longer than others.

***Review of thread complete. Several posts that were either personal attacks or contributed absolutely nothing to the thread have been removed. The OP's question has been sufficiently answered and keeping this thread open any longer serves no purpose other than to prolong back and forth bickering, this thread is now closed to any additional discussion.***
