How is pointing out that those at TSC have it worse?

How is that helpful?

Each center marches to their own drum and TSC is further delayed than CSC...

How is inserting the fact the you have to wait longer helpful or relevant to those being processed at CSC?

How was your post relevant to anything then... everyone has their own set of circumstances and others deserve respect too.. it is what it is.. a waiting game and by all accounts you haven't been waiting that long.

It's profoudly funny those responding are being processed at TSC.

I am quite familiar with the process and time that it takes for petitions to be processed.

I think that all of you read my post as "Oh, wow, waiting 1.5 months and complaining? We have to wait ages for ours because we're at TSC!" Or I know nothing about the immigration process.

Re-read the original post... So far, only 1 person has responded accordingly without getting their feelings hurt.

Because we're trying to help. Be glad someone is with all your negativity & condescension.

As someone who is not currently waiting on the K-1 visa, I can tell you from my recollection of the process that waiting even 5 minutes sucks. OP, you will likely have a lot longer to wait, and I totally feel for you. This process is not easy whether you wait 2 months or 10 months, and it's easy to get jealous of people who are at the "better" service center. My advice would be to not pay too much attention to the timelines, as they are just estimates, and the workflow at the service centers are constantly fluctuating. As for your original question (the article you posted), no, that is not what is causing everything to be slow. USCIS is just slow in general. I hope everything goes quickly for you!

HAHA

Thank you for the reply.

I am at the "better" service center but the "estimates" are driving me bonkers. Mine isn't flowing as others... sucky.

Those that applied before me and not approved?!?!?! UGHHH I feel for them.

^^Yep!! How sad is our reality eh?!

I don't think a month and a half qualifies as a delay. Waiting 6 months or more is a delay. Yes, I know you are at CSC but still...one and a half months is not a delay!! Just thank your lucky stars you are at CSC!!

Remember that visajourney is just a small sample of the population who have applied for visas, and you can't use the timeline estimate as anything more than a rough guide. It really isn't all that accurate. Also, as you haven't been waiting long enough to ask for a service request, there is literally nothing you can do to find out if there is anything wrong or not with your case. You just have to wait really. No one on these forums will be able to answer your question cos the truth is nobody knows...but there are plenty of people who will be able to support you and listen if you want to let off steam.

The chances are you'll be fine and get your NOA2 any day now. Just remember each case is different and your time is coming a lot sooner than most people. Good luck!!

If you were at TSC you have already pulled your hair out, I would trade TSC 6months for 1 month with CSC in a heart beat.

She said she was "very pregnant and very hormonal" thus giving us a warning that she was allowed to be crabby.

She can be forgiven as she is new to the process and not yet hardened.....no 2 weeks is not a delay....lol...thats nothing!

Going into month 12 now with our K1...still waiting...

The I129F is just step one. Its not like you are getting a visa any time soon, so take care of your pregnancy.

If you expect your case to conform to the timelines you could be in for constant frustration....you never know, the embassy might take forever etc....

You can really drive yourself crazy with this process.

My advice is to do everything you possibly can to make sure your process is processing well....one example is that you could be working on your embassy packet now..download forms from their website etc... if you have not already done it. As soon as you get your case number from NVC you can send your packet in to the embassy, vs waiting for them to send you everything....find out who in London is the best USA family visa processor or attorney and find out what you can do to speed up that part of the process....(such as what I just mentioned).

Its too early to be going crazy about this....that is what everyone is telling you. Take care of yourself, and be realistic and you can be at least a little happier....

Its tough for all of us. We started in August 2013, I was expecting 129F in 4-5 months, got it in 60 days, then I was so excited....oh boy we could have the visa by New Years....haha...then the NVC shipping was slow....took 6 weeks to get a case number....then I moved my estimate visa back to Feb....then we got an interview right away....wow, Jan 2nd 2014..I thought we would have the visa by end of that week....uh oh....problem, needed a waiver....thought that would take ?? Heard everything from 4 moths to 2 years....ok so then I thought waiver would be approved in August...wow, approved in June..they sped up...ok, so I thought we should have visa end of June....no no....embassy slow....not moving on any post waiver cases even a month behind us....then I thought ok this is bad its going to be 6 months more...then...July 17 they contact us asking for more stuff....so we send it in....I think ok now we will be done fast like 1 month or less....maybe 2 weeks? Then, yesterday they tell me they cant even know if they got our papers last week as it takes them 2 weeks to get their own internal mail...lol.....or it could be lost....so we could get the visa in a couple weeks...but the computer system went down....so there will be delays...and what if the docs are lost like so many others had happen.....so will we get the visa next week or in 3 more months???

LOL.....I hope your case is much faster, but it could be slower too.....maybe embassy puts him in AP for indefinite period...?

Get it?

See that's where you're wrong...

No one is LUCKY to be at CSC. It's just a matter of where the petitioner lives. You're at TSC, I get it, you're butt hurt. You will have to wait for a lot longer than I will.

When November/December approaches and you're case isn't following norms, you'll be wondering why, too.

You say waiting 6 months or more is a delay?

You WILL be waiting 6 months or more at TSC.

YOUR reality does suck, huh?

*facepalm*

How is pointing out that those at TSC have it worse?

How is inserting the fact the you have to wait longer helpful or relevant to those being processed at CSC?

Geez, take a chill pill, we're all waiting, be gratefull you dont'have to wait as much as everone that have their petition in TSC, so yes, LUCKY you, because your petitioner lives in an area serviced by CSC.

Don't use the estimates at the bottom of your timeline, they get your hopes up and constantly change and get pushed back. Under the Immigration timeline tab at the top, use Igor's list to get an idea of where CSC is on processing. Be happy you're at CSC, going on 6 months waiting for TSC. Good luck!

Anyone else notice the delay at CSC?

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between July 13, 2014 and July 19, 2014*.

I am very pregnant, hormonal and incredibly impatient.

It's a bit frustrating and disheartening seeing other petitions approved that filed after we did. Although, I am very happy for them. (Selfish?)

Is this the cause for the delay?

HAHAHa this is so funny I'm not from CSC but you just have 1 month waiting ...

There is a lot of people waiting more than 1 month you have no idea ....

I'm sorry you are frustrated & all.. But you're luxky you're not at TSC. Think about all those who are stuck at TSC 5,6,7 or 8 months & enjoy the fact that you won't probably have to wait that long.

This process isn't easy for anyone.. I know it isn't easy for anyone but less than 2months & you call it a delay? Please..

I don't mean to sound rude or anything.. I went through TSC and reading this I was just like ' is she foreal ?? '
