What if I file the petition now that shes 19 and get approval at age 21 or over. What are the rules here? Will she get visa if she turns 21 before the approval or as long as the petition was filed before 21, she can still join me here no matter what.

I couldnt find at the USCIS website anything about this. Please help/

My mom applied for my younger siblings when they were 18 and I was worried about the same thing.. what will happened when they turn 21. I called USCIS and they told me it doesnt matter as long as you applied when they were under 21. And I think the same rule applies if child gets married before getting visa approval. All u have to do is update the file when they get married.(???) (Someone plz correct me if thats an incorrect info.)

Who is this you want to file for? As a green card holder I think you can petition parents but not siblings until you become a citizen but I am not certain of that. I just know getting siblings here takes much longer, sometimes years. I think the wait time to get a sibling from the Philippines is about 20 years as example

He could be talking about a wife.

A guessing game.

The sub title says petition for my 19 year old. So a good guess would be its a child. Most people don't call their spouses "my 46 year old" or my 17 year old".
