RyRo,

YOU.,.,,are absolutely correct, in everything you have said.,.,.,if there is not a change in 2 years people like you and me that brought our wives here "legally" from the Philippines.,.,.,.we will be a small minority, of people from another country, who did "IT" the right way!!!!

So this is all relative to where you are at...

No, it's not. The Law may be harsh, but it is the law. I am waiting in the country at war for my K-1, living right in the middle of the war zone; each day can be the last one, every time I say 'goodbye' to my honey on Skype I know I may not see him again, ever. Yet I am here, did not fly to Mexico where he could pick me up and we would probably cross the border without a spare glance from a border patrol.

I am not doing it. They shouldn't as well.

Why have visas, and legal immigration processes, and penalties for overstaying then? Why make some people go through immigration hell for doing things the right way and paying thousands of dollars, then just let other people get away with a shortcut?

Either have laws and enforce them, or don't have laws. The system right now is a joke, and more amnesty won't make it be taken seriously any time soon.

Post Made By: Ryan

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.”

Benjamin Franklin

"Roughly 5 million of the estimated 11 million people who entered the country without legal authorization or overstayed their visas could be protected under a leading option the White House is considering, according to officials who discussed the proposals on condition of anonymity."

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obama-immigration-20140726-story.html

So tell me... why is everyone on this site freaking out about what sections to be put "N/A", "None" etc...?? We are made to wait, and others are denied for stupid reasons or put on hold indefinitely for reasons they will not even release!

Why are our foreign partners subject to body screenings, vaccine screenings, and all different kinds of checks whether it be biometrics or otherwise? Then they are hassled by the T S A in coming into this country, and immigration officers.

Why do we have to pay $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ amounts of money just to get them here to then TURN AROUND and pay another $1000+ so they can STAY?

We are the legit ones following the rule of LAW yet the government (and the idiots who run it) let illegal ALIENS who are breaking not just national but international law to cross the border, and they are then establishing amnesty for them based upon what?

I am SO SICK of seeing news just being rubbed in my face, and hearing people I talk to about it say "ohh they can pay taxes, they can help the govt if we just give them amnesty".

WHAT A JOKE!

What does it even mean to be American anymore? If you can just fly into Mexico and cross the border, and get Amnesty???

It is just NOT right. If they give amnesty to these illegal national/international law breakers then why cant they give amnesty to us? Why do we have to pay the piper of "immigration" and follow the law to the "t" or never see our loved ones.

Why do our love ones have to go through all the screenings, biometrics, vaccinations, and everything else leading up to an interview with the fear of never being able to fulfill the desire of being with the one they love.

Then when they get here we have to jump through more hoops than a circus monkey who is doing it for peanuts.

Just to stay here!

/End Rant

To be honest I would rather see my taxes go to the honest people on this site, than a bunch of law breakers.

/End Post.

Sigh. Whatever. Freaking ridiculous.

I so agree with you in all you say plus, starting when I walk out of my house I'm not sure I'm in the USA anymore there are so many illegals here. Parties start at 2 am with music on loud speakers, the police know me by name. :(

The bleeding hearts make me want to projectile hurl for days they have no clue what we have to go through to bring our loved one here the right way. If you think your Embassy is bad Egypt Embassy in Cairo is the worst they treated me like a piece of S_ _T when I was there and I'm a US citizen. I just shudder to think how they will treat my husband and here they pack up food and clothes to give them and they leave with their illegal family members already here laughing at the stupid Gringos who just gave them free stuff.

Did you know there are complete villages here from different parts of certain countries and 99% illegal? Just pathetic it makes me want to cry.

What's your alternative proposal to deal with 11 million undocumented people? Whatever it is, I 100% guarantee it is not feasible.

If it's feasible for them to come here it's feasible to get them out. If no one gives them jobs because they will be fined and no one will rent to them because they will break the law and have to pay believe me they will have to leave. The laws have to be followed and bleeding hearts need to think more of their country then people who have broken the Sovereign of the USA.

In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.

Thomas Jefferson

The last thing we should do is make 11 million law breakers legal. We are rewarding the behavior they have

presented which is against the Rule of Law.

What reason would they have to follow the Rule of Law after this?

At the same time we as a nation are setting a precedent that those who follow the rules are the suckers!

Stand on Principle! Not amnesty. Period!

To be forced into being for this having it rammed down our throat like any other piece of government

legislation is not true to the virtues that this great country was founded upon.

One of those great virtues was Rule of Law. Now if it can be proven that these 11million law breakers respect ROL... then we will talk.

But good luck with that... as they have already broke many many laws in illegally entering this country.

I do not trust them, and I do not want them in our country.

If you have been reading news articles you can see the violence that has been inflicted by them, the diseases

that are spread, and the crime that is increasing because of them.

They do not respect our laws nor will they ever.

So giving them amnesty at the very least in principle is the wrong thing to do.

You do not reward evil with good. Any parent knows this.

I am then reminded by the quote:

Policies are many, Principles are few, Policies will change, Principles never do.

John C. Maxwell

Maybe you should take some time to understand the complexities.

Exactly, in a lesser crime, a day before Thanksgiving a drunk hit my father's car on the right side. The illegal was not only drunk but on a motorcycle and the impact was so huge it totaled my father's perfect SUV. The illegal flew through the air fell on the road and was up and yelling profanity to the police, refused a breathalyzer test then a blood test at the hospital yelling I know my rights. He did have insurance but still we lost in that the SUV was totaled and we could not get another one like it for what the insurance company gave us. As usual we lost and his old beat up motorcycle was a loss and he got more money for that piece of cr ap and now has a better motorcycle than he had before. No they did not arrest him, no immigration did not come to haul his rear away. So much for justice so all you bleeding hearts can kiss my....................................... :D hand.

Sensitive topic to touch on open forum, but even many silent folks

have strong opinions about this one way or the other.

One time there was a friendly argument that heated up over lunch

between co-workers that we used to lunch together regularly.

(legal) Mexican argued that US stole Texas, California, and few other states...

so Mexicans are just returning to their motherland, so what's the problem?"

And one African American guy half jokingly and half seriously

chimed and said, "they forced you guys out, and they dragged us in..."

And the Caucasian guy said "then go back to the Africa if you don't like it here"

and continued with "Mexico lost the war and ceded those land to US for

millions of dollars, so you were paid off"

This continued on and it eventually went to, the land of America belong to the native Indians,

and Europeans stole the land from them...to...why are we wasting so much of hard earned

tax money to lazy welfare collectors..and on and on...

So to break up the argument and to lighten things up before we return to work,

I said...(jokingly of course with a big laugh...)

"That's right, American Indians originated from Asia, so this is my land,

you guys all get the heck out..." LOL

I picked up the bill and we returned to work.

I am a law abiding citizen, and I wish everyone is same,

but when a family is desperate to just feed their family.................................

For one they are NOT desperate they are one of the fattest countries in the world so they aren't starving by a long shot and second This was NEVER part of Mexico another lie they love to put out there because if you say it enough it becomes true. Actually the Spaniards brought them here and when they had to leave they stayed and took over for like 30 to 50 years so this was never theirs but the indigenous people of the area at that time. Like Chocolate is not theirs, or Tomatoes, Annato/Achote, Ponchos, Hammock etc, etc. Wish we were at lunch. ;)

If you think they aren't dangerous read this please, http://www.illegalaliens.us/aztlan.htm

You can find more on this link http://www.illegalaliens.us/aztlan.htm

Not at all what you think, it's Insidious!

I pay ton of tax and of course I want to stop most of non-sense welfare and

billions in foreign aid to countries that are not even struggling.

But that's easy to say when I'm not on the desperate end of the things.

All I'm saying is, if you were on the other side,

I'm 110% sure your view will differ.

So this is all relative to where you are at...

But we are not and it's our duty as US citizens to make our country safe and better! It's our given right and we will use it to make the USA what it was before. We all pay taxes but not to pay for freeloaders. Not buying the your not in their shoes, right is right and wrong is wrong and never the twain shall meet!

Aside from the illegal immigrant thing, we have a big hole in our government.

Each year, tens of billions of dollars are paid to fraud Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment, tax evasion, etc.

I'm not asking for bigger government, but we have many areas we can improve.

Agreed 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not if you believe in skilled immigration (which, as a former H1B holder, I absolutely do)

NumbersUSA is in favor of lowering total immigration numbers - legal AND illegal. There should be a group that's anti illegal immigration somewhere...

Thank you I'll check them out, the last time I was there it was only illegals haven't been to the site for two years. Ty, my excuse is I've been in Egypt for two years and things have change. :(

Moderator if you can please remove that post I would be most grateful. TY in advance.

Please... I know illegal aliens and legal immigrants. I grew up in a highschool that was 40%+ Hispanic and you are going to drop this wiki on me?

From talking to them I gather:

They steal ssn from dead people, or pay off living citizens for their ssn, not only to work but to claim the benefits from social security/welfare.

Wonder if you knew that...

Bet something else you did not know is you can use a ssn twice in different states in the US and the IRS will not say anything about it. (This has became so bad that the IRS now issues pins(with the ssn) for people who have two different submissions for taxes.)

Ohh and wait... after they have kids in America they are then set for perpetual cash assistance, food stamps, and medical assistance. Free ride baby.

By the way... the majority of the "legal" hispanics(I grew up around) were pissed off by the illegals.

Want to know why?

Because they hated the fact that they came to this country and busted their butts to make it, and some illegals from Mexico can cross the border and accomplish everything that took them years to achieve by using this amnesty push or having anchor babies and they have to pay for it.

Also... did you even look at the link?

Actually, almost all of these accusations are demonstrably false anecdata used to rally people around racist anti-immigration screeds. Careful, you're from the Philippines, so you're brown enough to get caught in that racist anti-immigration rant. Just take a look at the elected officials in Florida and California who assume anyone who isn't lily white is an undocumented immigrant or visitor (busload of undocumented kids - oh wait, YMCA camp kids! Indian nationals petitioning Congress - oh wait, Americans who work for the US government!).

Lots of folks here felt that expedites being granted to the Philippines after Yolanda were unfair; other people had waited so long, why should one group get a benefit another doesn't? That's the same basic tantrum being thrown here; why should one group get a benefit another doesn't? Offhand, because the situations are not the same, and because we have to do something; anyone who tells you that the border can be permanently sealed is selling you something (it is simply not feasible; every single effort to figure out a way to do it has failed because, not feasible). Beyond that, we need that labour. When's the last time you saw a white American out picking tomatoes in Florida? Strawberries in California?

These undocumented immigrants are the very grease that makes our food system possible; I don't know about you, but I like to eat. And because I like to eat, I'd like to do the necessary things to make sure the people growing and picking my food are healthy, able to live outside slavery-like conditions, be treated fairly, and have the freedom to come and go from their home countries.

But by all means-give us your grand solution to fix this problem in a way that's actually feasible. How are you going to: completely seal all borders; provide the necessary labour for our crop systems; provide the workers necessary to make slaughter houses function.

Given that some of the best minds in America have been grappling with this question for, oh, at least 40 years, I eagerly await your genius solution.

In the meantime, may I remind you:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I sincerely hope you guys are expediting your case. From what I heard last night, they're starting to do so after the escalation the last few weeks.

(And no, crossing the border isn't that easy. You'd need fake documents, and then you run the risk of being caught, just like any other undocumented immigrant. There seems to be a belief that people from Central and South America are just waltzing through American border patrol like nothing, and that's not what happens. In reality, it's about smuggling, and often human trafficking. It requires risking life to cross a desert, swim major rivers, or other hazards, depending on where they are trying to cross over.)
