AOS been on standstill since May?

Hey guys, I applied for AOS back in April, I got NOA1, did biometrics fine, then got an RFE on May 14th, it took me about 3 weeks to get all of my things together, and my RFE response was received (According to USPS tracking) on June 13th. Now the tracking number on USCIS never changed from "On May 14th we mailed you a request for evidence", HOWEVER I did get my EAD 2 weeks ago so I assume they obviously received my response. Now I have called USCIS twice and got told that the tracking sometimes isn't updated, and that if there's no change try calling back on August 13th which will be 2 months after they received my RFE response. Has anything like this happened to anyone else and does anyone have any idea when I might get my green card or at least an update?

probably not for a few months more yet. you'll either be notified that you have to attend an interview, or you'll receive a letter saying you will potentially be having your interview waived. generally, those who attend interviews get their green cards a bit quicker (depends on the speed of their local offices) and those who get the interview waiver letter take a bit longer to receive their green cards (could be up to a year from NOA1).

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

I'll guess early 2015.

Timelines are a guess. Just get on with life. You got your work authorization, right? That will do for most anything you need. No point in watching that status thing anymore. Break free from the addiction. It happens when it happens.

There's an April filers thread. If you're not on it, you might find it useful. If you are on it, then you already know a bunch of us are still waiting, and probably will be for another 4-8 months. :)

if you get an interview waiver you have not even started waiting yet. i filed last Oct and am only just expecting my GC though about now. I have had 2 email notifications saying "card production" and "decision phase". Thats with no RFE's by the way
