2006 income level

here is a question for you all I was laid off in 2006 for 5 months , so my income for 2006 was low , only 18000 my income for 2007 will be about 30000 should I write a statement explaining why my income for 2006 is so low or not? I won't have my w2s for 2006 before the interview so won't know the exact amount of income . Also I just started my current job the 2nd of Jan will this have any effect ?

Your timeline says your interview is 12 Feb, You should have your w-2s by 31 Jan.

I should of said that I won't have them by the time I send the information which I am sending the 26th but even if I have them your reply still doesn't answer the question

I should of said that I won't have them by the time I send the information which I am sending the 26th but even if I have them your reply still doesn't answer the question

And you *have* to send these documents on the 26th? cant wait till the 1st? or any chance you might get your w-2's before the deadline? My reply does not answer the question for probably the same reason no one else has answered it. I'm not a consular officer, I don't know.
