Stressed out about this K-1 process

my situation is this, i recieved my NOA2 on dec. 21st 2006. i have been calling the NVC all MONTH and they tell me they have not recieved my petition yet. Today i called the USCIS california service center and the late (rude) told me they dont know were it is. I also got a touch on jan 12th from USCIS even though my case was approved on dec 21st and i got a hard copy in the mail on the 23rd. Is anybody else experienceing this same situation because they recieved a NOA2 right before the holidays.

We experienced a similar delay and it took about a month. You should hear any day now so hang in there!

We didnt have to wait quite that long, but from what Ive seen a month or so is normal for NVC. If it continues you may want to contact your congressman/woman. And don't lose hope, you're on the home stretch! We've all been in the same spot, and we know how hard the waiting (not to mention being in the dark) is. *Hugs*

If NVC hasn't received it after 6 weeks or so, for the K-1, you can send them a copy of your NOA2 and they will search for your petition. After I called NVC Thursday night thats what the lady told me to do, and my approval notice didn't even say it was sent to the NVC.

I have more faith in the NVC as they are a private company contracted by the DOS.

We are all in the Club of the Worried and Stressed. It is a mystery that you have no word from NVC after NOA2 one full month ago. As for me, I am still waiting for the RFE which hasn't arrived in the mail yet. I feel so depressed that I no longer even can write congrats to people who get NOA2.
