Most "center of the road" people need generalizing terms to condescend towards an entire political affiliation I'm sure.

well that is why I asked if it was offensive? Because I do occupy the rational middle, and try to be sensitive to the view points of all people. The very fact I asked, re enforces my claim to the middle, in direct contradiction of your poorly thought out veiled personal attack, which I choose not to report, because of a true and deep fondness and respect for your belief system and your warm congenial personality

Whatever man, you just want a shorter way to say "the looney left" Whatever word you settle on means the same thing you meant by "lib-tard"

I say bring back moonbat. I always liked that one.

I was editing my post as you replied. BTW LIB*** in any form is a direct violation of the TOS,

So you are ok with Moon Bat /

Now you can help me with a cute catch phrase for the RWNJ crowd

Presumably there are Golf Courses near Detroit.

Organise a few fund raisers and get Obama to visit, problem solved.

This thread reminds of a conversation I had with a family member in the Detroit area a few months ago. Apparently they were fighting with the bank over a potential forclosure on the house due to not paying the mortgage for a few months. They hired a lawyer and the premise was that the mortgage was fraudulent when it was obtained 10 years ago. The goal was to not have to pay the mortgage AT ALL based on this allegedly fraudulent mortgage.

Me: what makes the mortgage fraudulent?

Family member: On some of the pages of the mortgage, it has my husbands initials and he say that he never initialed those pages

Me: What was on those pages?

FM: Standard stuff.

Me: So what makes the mortgage fraudulent?

FM: Those aren't his initials

Me: So what do expect from the bank?

FM: I shouldn't have to pay my mortgage because it's fraudulent

Me: Did they raise your interest rate, or do something else to change the rules? Raise the monthly payment?

FM: No

Me: Then I don't get why you think you should get a free house out of the deal.

FM: Because it's a fraudulent mortgage!!!

This went back and forth for about 15 minutes and I gave up.

But they looked like immigrants from Africa then?

They looked and sounded like African Americans.

Do they expect to also keep the house or are they just wanting to walk away?

My ex-wife has been able to walk away from two houses so far - after getting mortgage refinance and paying off her cars and a boat and credit cards. On the second house she was able to buy a small third home (in her new husbands name) with the mortgage refinance that she then walked away from and now has no mortgage and a free home.

They looked and sounded like African Americans.

As in they had French accents? Or Boers? There are so many countries in Africa, and such varieties of accents I find it fascinating one might be able to pinpoint with such precision.
