Good luck Lisa!!!! I'm happy that you guys are finally making a move on the visa - I just always assumed that it was already a done deal!!!! I hope it all goes very quickly for you - I'll have my eye on your journey since my Brit and I are hoping to file in March!

Oh yes - A Happy Anniversary to you both!

Aww thank you guys :) Just fyi, I'm in a much better frame of mind now, lol

Becs, no worries...it was a disjointed ramble so it's easy to get it confused I guess

I'll let you all know when I file...I'm SURE i'll make a thread about it or some other Attn Whorey thing :P I'm quite busy this week (go fig with me vj-ing all day but I'm at work) so I'll prolly be finalizing the paperwork over the weekend...and I'm tryin to figure out if I need a new I-129F. I can't access the new version no matter how many times I clear my cache & stuff.

Oh well, new day, better frame of mind! Hope everyone's day is going great :)

Someone on the K1 forum got an email back from USCIS which stated that the new form was 'prematurely published'. (Sounds dirty, I know) I think it said they are expecting it in mid February.

I found this in another thread, which you may have already seen, but anyway:

So I emailed USCIS about the I-129F craziness. New version, old version, which one to use?

So this was their response:

The newer version was prematurely published. We expect it to be officially available this week. You may use the older version at least through mid-February.

I don't know why you'd have to. Use whichever form is available when you're ready to file.

If the new one isn't available till February, they can't expect you to use a version that doesn't yet exist (technically).
