So I got the answer from our Senator...

Currently, I-129F petitions thatwere filed on or before December 31, 2013 are being adjudicated. Please allow 30 days for a Notice ofAction to be mailed to your address of record once a decision has been made on your case.

Thank you captain obvious for nothing........

that was the same answer USCIS gave us! we could have done that.....argh...

so annoying.....

231 days today!

Senators are not very helpful. Did you get your congressman involved? Usually the congressional inquiry helps the case to move along...

Thank you!!!!!! There was no text or email... just status change! What a relief :-) I think it was a senator's push.. I was approved 1 day after Senator inquired... Very-very thankful to them :-)

Hey! By the way! Have you ever got response from CIS Ombudsman? Do you think somebody was able to pushed your case or it was just time?

Haven't heard anything official from the CIS Ombudsman's office. I just kept nagging my congressional immigration specialist to keep calling TSC. Last time it was a specific inquiry why security check is taking so long....

I contacted our congressman today and got this response:

"I spoke to our congressional liaison at the Texas Service Center regarding your fiancé petition. There was a delay due to a hit on Beneficiary’s name and this issue had to be resolved. The file is currently in transit back to the officer. The liaison could not provide a timeframe for a final decision."

Any I did what that means?

K-1 Visa Timeline

I've send email to Mr. Neufeld, who is the associate director for Service Center Operations who oversees all activities at the four USCIS service centers, on August 6th. In my email I explained my situation and that I've been on processing hold due to pending security checks since July 3rd.

Today I got a response from TSC (he forwarded my email to them the same day - August 6th):

We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

I am SO frustrated and VERY MAD at that response. I can't even imagine how you feel since you've been waiting one month longer than me kion2412.
