I already received a letter from our embassy that my petition was approved and is now eligible to apply for a Fiancee Visa. However, with no luck, there was a break in last night in our house, that letter was included when the man stole my bag. I need your help please. Is there a way where I can ask for a duplicate? Since I need that letter as part of the requirements to pass when I apply and get an appointment for a Fiancee Visa. Where should I start? Should I be the one who will call our country's embassy? or my fiancee will call USCIS about it? By the way, I'm able to retrieve the tracking no. attached to that letter sent me since I copied it manually to one of my notes before for filing purposes. I need your help. If someone could enlighten me what to do. It would be very helpful. Thank you

I received 3 letters for I-129F:

1. USCIS confirming the receipt of I-129F (I'm assuming this is NOA 1)

2. USCIS informing that I-129F is approved and that its being forwarded to NVC (I think this is NOA 2)

3. NVC informing that our case has been forwarded to embassy

You said you lost NOA 2, but do you still have #1 and #3 mentioned above?

The #3 should have both SRC### and GUZ### numbers.

So Manila embassy requires you to present NOA 2 to get an appointment? Or to pass the interview?

I sent those to my fiancee (in China), but I didn't know they were absolutely required...???

Sorry. I think I have to be specific with my info. I am the beneficiary. My fiance (the petitioner) in CA already received both NOA1 (receipt of I-129f) and NOA2 (approval). The case was already forwarded to NVC and NVC already forwarded it to Manila Embassy. Manila Embassy sent me a letter telling me that I got approved, fill up the form DS-160, and follow the instructions from this website http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html.%C2'>

Attached on that letter too is the photo copied form I129f of my fiance provided with my AR number on it. Then on the 3rd page consist of stamps showing 2nd screening passed I think (as far as i could remember). Then there's a small booklet, it was an information about my rights when I enter in the US. I dont know how you call that letter and I don't know if that letter is relevant when I apply for my Visa. If I remember it right, it was not indicated there that I need to include that letter and the pages along with it when I apply for my Visa. But I want to know and make sure what to do. Thank you for your prompt reply DualityOneness.

By the way, below in that letter was a case number assigned to me. It starts with MNL then the 10digit no. Im able to copy the case number before the letter was stolen from me last night.

You are referring to the USEM K1 Packet 3 instructions. You don't really need this and in fact, not all applicants from Manila receive this letter from USEM. The information you need here on can all be found in the embassy website.

K1 instructions: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_updated%2004%20Feb%202014_.pdf

Your MNL case number is also provided in the NVC letter which your fiance received, and it looks like this:http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l240/felicityme/nvc.jpg

- You can simply ask him to send you a scanned copy or give you the MNL#. You only need this number to pay for your visa fee.

Instructions here in paying for your visa ($240):

http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp

http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

For embassy-phase concerns, here's the PH regional forum link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Edit: Just realized you have your MNL# anyway. :)

1st - you do NOT need the letter from the embassy stating you are eligible to apply for your visa, most never receive it to begin with. All you need is your MNL #, with that you can complete EVERYTHING!

Relax, all is fine, except for the other items the man stole.

Follow the flashing arrow for details on the process for K-1

Hey jade...

Have you scheduled your medical exam yet?

My advised is to to pay your visa fee and get an appointment as soon as possible coz it was really hard to get an appointment for the last few months till now i guess... So to save time book your appointment and do your medical...

Good luck to you:-)
