  1. 1. If you had this problem, how would you handle it?

    • I'd shoot. Second Amendment remedies ftw!

    • I'd whine to the cops and the media just like these people.

    • I would raise funds online to build a wall so I don't have to see it. After all, it's not happening on my property. Except for the view, it's not really my problem.

I am not sure it's a question that would occur to me when looking at property, 'has this area been or is by common consent an outdoor toilet?'

A fence would of course hide what's happening but, it's shocking to me that it is happening, period. No area is that bad that people should conclude that it's a toilet, that's just pathetic. (I know the use of pathetic is problematic for some, let me be clear, I think that people who pull over to the side of the road, drop their pants and pee in full public view are pathetic, not the person I am quoting)

I've actually seen a guy leave a nice restaurant to urinate on the back wheel of his own car parked outside, in full view of other diners. Like he couldn't be arsed to go in the back and use the actual toilet.. Just goes to show money can't buy class. Edited by Hail Ming!

Clearly not. How utterly self obsessed. People like that should be made to clean public lavatories as punishment for their selfishness and disregard for public hygiene.

Yes, but they could build a fence made of wood or something, instead of a chain link one. They seem to be homeowners, so this could have been thought of when they bought it.

A strategically placed electric fence could solve the problem.

Either he has, or he just gets the physics of it and doesn't need to.

Kinda like I just know if I drop a ball from the Eiffel tower, it will fall.

I've never even been to Eiffel tower but I still know that.

I know of course that liquids conduct electricity but I would have thought the resistance/volt ratio (or whatever the hell it's called) would prevent this actually working. Electric fences typically run on a very low voltage, it's not like a power line and they pulsate, they are not permanently live. So, I have to conclude he tried it on a fence that was permanently live and got very close to the fence.

So because your knowledge of the science is not adequate, you assume his is as well?

I know I am right, so my knowledge must be adequate, but I know it's not sophisticated, or outstanding. :)

Yes peeing on an electric fence is not something you will do twice.

I would not call 7-10K volts or more low voltage

The best way to keep people off of your lawn is a motion activated water sprinker system.

Got the neighborhood kids playing on your lawn? Activate the water system. People do not like getting wet.

It's common all over the world. One of the most disgusting I saw was on the French Riviera. Anywhere around the big rocks reeked of urine, there were piles of poop along the wall between the street and the beach. It shouldn't have surprised me but the marketing of the Riviera is this high class district.

But same with any place like Washington D.C. with high density millionaire residency combined with squalor where... people pee in lots, alleys, between parked cars, etc.
