Just received my visa! Didn't ask for any ID, and spelled my name wrong on the electronic sign thing, but it's here in my hand.

Best of luck to you guys, I'll continue to monitor to see how you're all getting on.

I'm also going to Denver! Might see each other getting the wedding licence! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you make your flight. I haven't yet booked my flight, but do have the wedding booked for

Just this second changed to Issued: Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consul

Brilliant! I'm hoping this to be me Monday/Tuesday.

Looks like we may both be flying out on Wednesday!!! Which is ideal as flights go down then ;)

Looks like we may both be flying out on Wednesday!!! Which is ideal as flights go down then ;)

I just booked direct to Denver, cost a bit more but can't be bothered with the hassle.

Send me a PM if it looks like you're flying Wednesday too and I'll let you know my seat number!

Ahh nice one, I'll be flying to LAX though! Maybe cross paths at the airport in London though, who knows.

Visited Denver before, was very nice, super cold in December!

Whoops! Got caught up in the euphoria and got you confused with another forum member going to Denver! Ha!

I've lived in Colorado for 2 years, so am fully prepared for the unpredictable weather!

Email from London embassy I received yesterday

Thank you for your inquiry.

As you may be aware, the Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs has been experiencing technical problems with our visa system which have affected operations globally. We recognize and regret the inconvenience this has caused. Please be aware that, due to these problems, CEAC accounts may not be updated.

As of July 30, visa processing has resumed. You can expect to receive an email via the Visa Appointment Service as soon as your visa has been fully processed and their documents passed to the courier service.

Please note that the Embassy is unable to guarantee that a visa will be issued to any applicant by a specific date. We recommend that applicants await receipt of their documents before booking or amending their travel plans.

Hey everyone, I've been following this thread closely as I am in the same boat/stage.

I had my interview last week 21st July, got told it was all good, I checked my status, says ready, last updated on the 29th, still no change , hope it changes to whatever it has to say so I can get my passport and visa back,

Congrats Marshall, so I see it took around 2 weeks after your interview to have your visa soon? So hopefully I should revive a email or something in the next few days!! Hope everyone is staying calm!! Won't be long people!!

it's been issued! The wedding is still on!!! My fiance will be on a flight this Wednesday and by Saturday we will be spending a glorious week in Cape Cod doing absolutely nothing but relaxing! :dancing::dancing:

We interviewed on 18th July and still stuck at 'Ready'

I just sent them another email telling them how disgusted I am at the length of time it has taken to return my passports.

I just sent them another email telling them how disgusted I am at the length of time it has taken to return my passports.

We got really pushy. Getting senators involved helped us because they were able to get the embassy to pull the case and work on it. We made it abundantly clear the wedding was this week.

Hey, thanks for your message :) yep I'm at issued since Friday and am now just waiting on the email from the courier!
