It's heartbreaking. They're forgetting we're real people just like them. They only see us as case files and packets of paper.

Such a shame I hope we both make it to the alter next week (well the courthouse in my case)

A little upset that they said they were prioritising immigrant visas but it seems to be non immigrant visas getting issued long before ours (according to this forum and one other that I browse)

AmAjjD, I am also hoping for tomorrow but not hopeful. We seem to be at the bottom of the pecking order as K1 applicants when it comes to issuing the visas.

Some k1 visas are scraping by I've noticed. We're classified as a nonimmigrant but we are processed with the immigrant visas. The only hope I have is that our status changed to nonimmigrant yesterday so like you said I'm hoping but not hopeful.

I have received an email from the Embassy today telling me my visa was with the delivery company (DX Group) now.

The link to DX shows delivery of my visa tomorrow, but not heard anything from them directly so not getting carried away just yet.

I'll update again tomorrow with any news, really hope you guys get some news soon.

I have received an email from the Embassy today telling me my visa was with the delivery company (DX Group) now.

The link to DX shows delivery of my visa tomorrow, but not heard anything from them directly so not getting carried away just yet.

Did you opt for courier or will it be delivered to the depot for pick up? It only takes a day to deliver, that's great! Thank you for the updates! :-)

Ironically after months and months of being apart when I told my Fiancée it might come tomorrow she said not to come out until Wednesday at the earliest as she's working long shifts Monday & Tuesday!

My husband has family in Clevedon! He lives in Slough, so it should get to the depot in no time flat!

Thanks Marshall, glad you got yours back. Don't worry about boasting, we've all been patient for so long so I'm imagining it's a beautiful thing to be feeling. Letting us all know is also reassuring so we know that there are some people who have managed to escape it. Gives us hope. I'm really hoping we hear some news soon but like I said our status updated to 'ready' with the change to nonimmigrant so I think I might have missed the first AP update but from what I'm gathering the change to nonimmigrant is a good sign that it will be issued soon? Fingers crossed. Tomorrow will be the second business day and our status says to wait two business days.

Since my fiance had his interview only a few business days after you we are hoping to hear something back by the end of this week if people are starting to get updates. Desperately hoping at this point so we can get married next Friday which is a bit scary.

Quick update: My fiance's case was updated again, but this time the creation date was updated to today's date. Absolutely no idea if that is a sign of anything or not. If they're taking the time to update the date of his case status I'm hoping that means they're working on his case.

Aparently the London Embassy is back on track now since the system crash so you should definitely hear something very soon! They seem to be pushing a lot of cases through now.

Thanks I had only been using the AA number but using the LND number it says ready with the last update on the 29th, not sure why I didn't use that number before so thank you.

Not great but do feel a little better plus I am not planning on heading out until September so I do have some time. Sorry to hear of your change in plans LDN2DEN

Thanks for the encouragement. I know our interview was a few days after yours but we are hoping to hear tomorrow! I'm being the typical bride and panicking. A lot of time and money went in to this wedding and it's going to be a hard pill to swallow if we have to cancel it next friday.

How are we all doing!? I guess moves are being made at the embassy today, my status just turned to ISSUED! It was so good to see it switch, I had to do a double take!

Here's a quick look at my CEAC status timeline:

Thursday 17th July, 9am: Interview, approved. CEAC said "ready" on Immigrant side, and "no status" on non-immigrant side. Last update: 17th July.

Thursday 24th July: Status changed to last update: 21st July and my case switched over to "ready" on the non-immigrant side.

Tuesday 29th July:, 1pm: Status changed to "Adminitrative Processing". Last update: 29th July.
Friday 1st August:, 11am: Status chaned to "ISSUED". Last update: 1st August.

TOTAL: 15 days from Interview to issued (11 business days)

It doesn't seem like much when you type it out like that, but it felt long.
