Hello,

My parents came here as tourist, with the WWP several times. They never had any problem getting in.

My question is... they are about to open a business here, and I saw that the business visa is part of the WWP

What would they have to say or present to the immigration officer to justify it ?

What would be the nature of the business they want to do in the US, they can not work in the US on the VWP.

Yes, they don't want to work yet. They are opening a restaurant and need to find a space... as you know, find the right spot takes time and they can't have me choosing it for them without them seeing of course... once they find it, they will apply for investor visa and come back with it

They could.

VWP has 2 sub classes so they need to make it clear they are seeking admittance under both.

On the VWP, they can look for a location.

They can not do anything to set up the restaurant since it would be working.

Look into getting them EB visas.
