My case is sent to Nebraska Service Center too. here's my situation. I came to the US on my K-1 Visa after I had engagement ceremony in Thailand in April this year.



Started K 1 In November 2013: total processing time: 4 months



November 2013: My fiance at the time filed petition or I-129 F



November 6,13: USCIS Received package



December 5,2013: Received NOA 1 I 797



December 11,2013: Received NOA 2 my case was sent to the US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand



January 9,2014: I received letter from the US Embassy in Bangkok



January 29,2014: I had medical exam as per requirement of US Embassy and USCIS



February 6,2014: Received email from US Embassy in Bangkok scheduling K-1 Visa interview on Feb 27


Since I had work engagement with business trip traveling and so forth, I rescheduled an interview


with the Embassy to the third week of March



March 24,2014: Visa Interview at the US Embassy in Bangkok



A week after an interview : I received package along with K-1 Visa




AOS Processing Time




2014



May 31: Came to the US



Jun 13: Got Civil Married Ceremony, got I-693 done with Vaccine supplement form



Jun 27: Picked up certified copy of marriage certificate and updated my Social Security (I do have SS because I studied in Colorado in 1997-1999) Just needed to update change of last name and address



July 5,2014: Received new SS Card



July 12: Sent out AOS Package I-485, I 765



July 16: Received first email from USCIS



Jul 21: Received NOA I-797C Notice of Action in mail



July 23,2014: Had driving license



Jul 24: Received Biometrics Appointment at local service in Milwaukee, WI (I live in Milwaukee by the way)


appointment date is on Aug 8 at 8 am!!



now status on USCIS Website is only the first stage which is acceptance



So I guess this is about it. I'm waiting patiently for the whole process too. Hope we all get green card in a short period of time

Good luck with your AOS process! :)

I'm not sure what NSC timeline looks like for that process but hopefully it is a little quicker than the one for the I130 petitions. NSC seems to be backlogged, even after moving a bunch of petitions to other centers.

Hopefully your process won't take too long and you will have your greencard soon. Good luck! :)

watercolor girl...did you file for I-131 advance parole also? You will most likely receive youre I-765(EAD)card 80-90 days from filing AOS but whether you will receive a interview waiver or a interview appt. date is up in the air, could be up to a year to get green card either way, the I-131 allows you to visit home while waiting for youre AOS to finish.
