Cheap Hotels nearby Mall of Asia

Hello VJ's :-)

I just want to ask an advice from you. Do you know any cheap hotel nearby Mall of Asia? I am planning to move to a hotel closer to Mall of Asia so in case i need to pick up my visa it will be faster for me to get there. As much as possible i would like it to be walking distance, if not.. maybe less than 30 minutes drive by jeepney.

There is a pinned thread on the first page that says "Hotels in Manila". Have you had a chance to look through it? Nice thing about the listing is that most have their homepage html address. Just click and have a look. Google also is your best friend. And Agoda is another place to go. Also you can search in the archives here in VJ, just enter your search term in the box above and to the right. The box says "search".

I recommend Mabini Mansion in Ermita .. it is a 10 min tax ride from MOA ... it is not a fancy hotel but they have really big rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and I have stayed here about 30 times. Rate is around $30 on Agoda.

@Greenbaum.. i have'nt checked but i will now that i know. I tried google but they recommend the expensive hotels. Thank you so much for the reply.

stayed at Mabini for 4 weeks, after first night(old-old room) I requested a much better room and they moved me up to a great room (separate sleeping bedroom) and had a good time there. Near park, Pettersons mall. Taxi drivers tried to over charge me to go to MOA so just ask ask several drivers (should get fare around 160 pesos.

Do not eat there. Mr. Peters (3 shops away) was the best. Also have 7-11 and fast food places near and park is 2 1/2 blocks away. There are several other hotels around there too. Just 10 minute walk to Manila US Embassy and close to St. Lukes.
