I called USCIS today just to see what is going on. (i have petotioned for my father & my wife). My wife's pettion has been touched many times while my fathers has not been touched for almost three months. I told the lady that i fear the two petitions have been separated. She first checked my wife's petition and she asked me what is wrong. I said nothing wrong other than the fear that the two are separated from one another. Then she checked my father's petition and said it is on the wrong shelf and taht she will correct so that it can adjucated. Has any one heard such a thing as 'petition being on the wrong shelf'?
