Uscis received my I-130 on 9th jul and i have receipt number LINxxxxxxx358

And i checked, uscis received someone i-130 on 10jul and they have receipt number LINxxxxxxx209.

I wonder why someone sent later than me but they get earlier number? (We have same receipt number, just different at 3 final numbers.)

Does anyone know the answer?

I will very happy if someone know about this and give me the answer.

It doesn't really matter because all the numbers mean something and you can only see the last 3. I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest.

October 23, 2014 - AOS/EAD Package Sent

October 30, 2014 - NOA1 via website

November 1, 2014 - NOA1 received in mail

November 6, 2014 - Biometrics Appointment Scheduled in mail

November 19, 2014 - Biometrics Appointment

it might help you understand numbering but its not going to help you understand or even figure out, for that matter, when your case will or won't be processed.

how USCIS processes applications is a mystery!!!!

you've got a long wait ahead. time to grab a good book and read....better yet, read up on the steps ahead and start the paper work!!!
