July 10- received email abt application approval

July 17- received hard copy of Noa2

Called uscis and asked for tier2 officer and asked when exactly did our file physically left and sent to nvc but was told all he can see is the same status that on july 10 we have approved blahblahblah

Called also NVC and was told no case number yet so they have not received it yet...we were asked what was written on the noa2 and it is sent to listed consulate and was told again that such will take 25 days to receive...

Whats the difference of being forwarded to nvc than that of forwarded to listed consulate?

We are trying to call nvc everyday coz i fear they will send it to china as that was my address written in our application when we filed and now i am in philippines for good... We tried to change that many times by calling and sending email but was never updated...

It's going to the NVC, it has to go through NVC prior to arriving at the consulate.

USCIS should notify you when it has been sent to the NVC. Otherwise, try calling NVC in a week to see if they have received it.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

What does the USCIS website say about your case? If it says your case has been sent to NVC, then I would wait 2 weeks from that date and call NVC. If it only says that "we mailed you a notice that we have approved..." then your case has not been sent to NVC yet.

The website says its on post decision activity and yes they stated there about them approving it...the hard copy that we got from the mail said it was forwarded to the listed consulate

Sorry I meant to clarify the difference but my brain seemed to not tell my fingers to type!

There's a bit of a communication problem surrounding K1 petition approval notices stating the consulate thing - it never goes straight to the consulate, it has to go to NVC. I think USCIS reps just don't get this.

Yes, this stage is actually more stressful coz we dont know who to call anymore... I guess we will just have to keep waiting

All NOA2 hardcopies will say that USCIS forward the petition to the consulate, which is not true. All petitions go to NVC.

I'd wait until you get a text/email and/or your USCIS status shows "On XX/XX/XXXX we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to DOS for visa processing...". Then wait another 2 weeks then call NVC for your case #.

I agree with frontgear - wait til you receive a notification from USCIS that it has been shipped

Call NVC at the 603-3340700. They received a shipment from USCIS. I received no a2 on July 15 and called nvc yesterday. Give them your uscis case number. They will tell you it's received but please give them 30 biz days to process because of......you guessed it.....backlog. so the few days to 2 weeks turn around we were seeing earlier this year is no more. This is officially the worst time in history to have filed a visa. ?

Hold up a second! So USCIS will DEFINITELY update to say that it's been shipped to NVC? And until it does, the two week wait for not contacting them so they can process it doesn't start? We got our NOA2 on July 8th which makes this day 17 of the wait and the USCIS still says that it's been approved and post decision activity may include the USCIS sending the notification to NVC. Oh bothers!

K-1 from Haiti - NOA1: 5/27/2014; NOA2: 7/8 USCIS never updated to say that it was sent to the NVC (just in case you're as concerned about your status not updating as I was about mine)

POE: 11/23/2014; Wedding: 2/14/2015

AOS/EAD/AP Filed: 2/21/2015;
