Well, you're being processed in Cali, so you'll likely have your interview before ours. From what I've noticed London takes two months or so for interview. But it's a straight forward interview & they mainly look at the usc's finances (mine) and ask a few questions. Visas seem to take about a week, which isn't bad. I'm still hoping my love will be here for Christmas, but with how slow Texas is going...I'm not thinking that will happen:(

Good luck to you & there's lots of info http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/ I've read over that a dozen times...

I am the petitioner.

My fiance is from the UK. We filed July 2 and were hoping to have the wedding in March or April... Given that my state, Pennsylvania, is assigned to the Texas Service Center, I personally am losing hope that I will see him before next summer. We have a visit scheduled in November at least.. it's going to be rough though. Minnesota is normally assigned to CSC, California who is processing 30-60 or 30-90 days, so if they continue with that pace your wait is going to be much shorter than ANYONE at Texas service center. I was hopeful but that hope is pretty much dashed at this point. The government seems to refuse to balance the workload and it's incredibly disheartening.

I am not sure about London wait times for interviews, but I'd suggest (especially if you get routed to California) that you start preparing your packet to send your fiance for his interview. The longest waiting period is NORMALLY from NOA1->NOA2. Looking over the 'average' wait times at other embassies, London is golden (some folks wait 6 months or more for interviews at certain embassies). If you are prepared and ready to go, your fiance can schedule his medical ASAP and then submit his readiness form. Your preparedness will cut down much of the 'waiting' time once you receive your NOA2.

Here's some graphs showing average processing times for eleven consulates based on VJ k1 timelines. London is shown. You can see how it changes. Will it be 72 days or 100 days by the time you get there? Unpredictable. Prepare in advance by learning the process specific to London and you may beat the average because you won't delay yourself by not being ready as soon as London notifies you.
