Hello All,

Quick question--Will my husband be required to have level two (think that is what it is called) review each and every time he travels outside of the US when he returns?

Anyone traveled back into the US with minor children? Asking as he is traveling to the UK in a few weeks to collect his kids to come to the US for a visit. We are having his ex wife sign a document stating that she is aware and approves but do we need to plan for anything else?

Thanks.

No, my experience has been that secondary processing (that's what its called) was only required the first time i returned to the US with AP.

I just got back yesterday from a second trip away and just did the normal single line for entry, showed my combo EAD/AP card and was quickly stamped and sent through with i-512 status written on the stamp.

I also travel with my kids (11 & 8) with no problems but opposite to your husband, they are K2's with AP and normally reside with me here in the US. The trip I just got back from was to take them to the UK to spend the rest of the Summer vacation with their father and grandparents and he is bringing them back to the US in 4 weeks time. I don't anticipate that he has any problems bringing them back here with him though either - we still all have the same surname, and there's no reason for any questions to be asked. Having a letter from your husbands ex wife is a good idea and he won't need anything else. (I know this from a friend who is high in management at UK Border Control)
