Have you confronted her about it? It really is up to you whether or not you want to still get married and proceed with the petition. Trust me, I have seen cases where the husband cheated on the wife and she forgave him and still brought him, but this involves a child so it really changes things. If it affects your case I can't really say, however admitted infidelity won't look good to any consul. By the way, how did your family find out first, do you have relatives that live near her?

Why would you want to be with a person who deceived you? You don't speak to her everyday? You had to find out about it from a family and not her? So you have been waiting here for her and she is betraying you? Long distances are not easy, but when people love each other, they should not cheat and should respect each other and she wasn't even using protection. I understand that you love her, but in the future you might not trust her and she might do it again. I am so sorry for your pain, but in my opinion she is not worth fighting for. We don't know the story or how you feel right now but think something... She was engage with you and still got pregnant from another man... that means is not that important her compromise to you... You (I Hope) are being faithful and loving her even with he distance... why couldn't she did the same??? She will probably beg and cry now you discovered the truth and tell you this would never happen again... You can't tell if the pregnancy is result of one or more encounters, you can't tell if it was with more than one men... are you sure you wanna live with the uncertainty??? are you sure you can live with someone that was unfaithful??? can you leave her home by her own or give her free access to internet or social places where she can meet someone else: without fear or jelousy??? Can you love another men baby??? Would you even throw it to the child knowledge??? Plus, are you sure she feels the same as you or just wanna come to the US??? Think wisely because once she gets here you cannot just get her back home, you would pay for all the paperwork, travel, and even pregnancy care or baby's care... are you willing to do that??? Now is not just both of you but another tiny person on his way... Just think about the future, not just the eager of having her... How your life will change??? If you think she is the the kind of woman you dreamed to have by your side ,go for it..I have zero respect for cheaters. Yep the US embassy can ask for DNA test,and of course they won't allow the child to immigrate ,well she has no moral values then she may leave the child behind. GOod luck

A family member told you, not her? Are you sure she is pregnant, or that the family member isn't just hoping to prevent her from moving? Are you also sure that she willingly conceived a child with someone else? Guinea doesn't have the best human rights when it comes to how women are treated, and it's currently roiled in the sort of health and economic instability that seems to mean rapes increase. ...is it possible she hasn't told you because she's ashamed of how she became pregnant?

It seems like there are lot of questions here, and not a lot of answers. I'd definitely make sure I knew the entire situation before making any decisions, but that's just me.

Listen, I married a woman that sadly I found out a week after marriage cheated while pregnant. These people are liars and cheats. YOU NEED TO RUN FROM THIS RELATIONSHIP. You might feel some sort of love, but you need to get some therapy and move on. People, male or female, behaving in this fashion are sociopaths. Find a good person who is honest and faithful.
