I filed I129f for my fiancée late February 2014. Almost there now I learn she is pregnant from another man.

What are my options? What should I do? Did this happened to anyone? I feel so unfortunate.

At this stage you could just do nothing and let it lapse, but best to write and confirm that you will be withdrawing your petition.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You options?

1. Withdraw the I-129F (this is what I would do)

2. Proceed (if you are willing to accept the child...kind of like marrying a divorce woman with a child)

3. Let the baby father take custody of the baby (if she is willing, which I doubt)

Also, complication is, she may be in US before the due date.

What should you do?

I think main choices are limited to above.

Did this happened to anyone?

I'm not sure of what happened to other people's lives will help you much in this case.

If I were you, I would drop the I-129F and look for another woman.

There are plenty of good woman out there.

It's not uncommon for this to happen to happen. You really only have 2 options, you continue with the petition or you withdraw it.

What are the circumstances? How did you find out? Was she cheating on you the whole time? Was it a one night stand? Was she taken advantage of and/or was it against her will?

No one can really give you advice (besides being told to withdraw) without knowing all the information.

I should have mentioned that i have seen quite a few similar posts on VJ, I have not kept track of them.

At this time I'm clueless as to circumstances and anything of that nature learned it from family members. I'm very sad, angry.

I know I can withdraw petition if I choose too. And also I really love this girl, if I choose to proceed, won't her being pregnant affects the case in any way?

This is your personal decision to make. Left with me, that would be over with the relationship.

It won't affect the case unless she has the baby before gets here, since the child is not yours I'm not sure how she could bring it with her, maybe someone else will chime in about that...

If you found out through her family members I'd say withdraw the petition. They did you a favor by warning you.

The baby could be a derivative of the K-1 if born prior to her coming here. It would receive a K-2 visa. Permission or a court order would be required of the father (usually) for the child to immigrate.

If she delivers after arriving in the US you need to think of how you will pay for the delivery.

It could cause problems during the interview for the visa as this would be proof that she does not take your relationship seriously.

This is a personal decision to be made by you. My personal opinion would be that even if it was the slip of the moment she should have used protection to prevent exactly this situation.
