I started in the beginning of October 2013 too but unfortunately we're hitting a brick wall with the IV invoice. I feel like I should have delayed the DS-261 til mid-June, it seems people who submitted it around the beginning of June have drawn the short straw.

Hopefully we hear something soon. I submitted Ds261 June 9th and it was received in their system June 16th and still nothing since then.

I've been in the same situation with you guys....I submitted DS261 on May 23 and paid AOS fee. We just sent AOS package out but we are still not being able to pay IV fee even though the website says "pay now"......going to try to call them today. Last time I call them, it took me almost two hours to get to connect....

Just got off the phone with them. Was told the Affidavit of Support and DS-261 were received, just need to wait (30 days). It took around 30 min. to get through to an agent, but when I did they were surprisingly friendly and helpful.

I've called in at least 5 times now, probably closer to 10 and every time the NVC agent has been nothing but polite and helpful. We can't let our frustration with the process cloud the job that these folks are doing. They're probably underpaid and overworked!

I filled the DS-261 on June 4th. On 07/22 I received an email from NVC telling me to pay the IV bill but it's still not available. When my wife called NVC they told her the ####### that is in the news about their system glitch. Maybe this will be their new excuse for not working...

My husband didnt fill up the ds261 right from the start it appeared together with the aos bill..he thought he dont need to fill it up..I thought he knew about ds261 is important. One month we had waited for the iv bill to be issued..he already paid aos, aos package already sent...until I asked him if he did filled up ds261 and he replied "what ds261?". My husband is so busy at work. And we dont hire atty. I keep on reading everyday here at visa journey. So now...after he filled up the ds261 july 7 Its like ill start counting the days until forever. Im losing hope. OUR CASE STARTED JULY 2013. Our case reached NVC last April this year. I guess I still need 5 months more for the case to complete... waiting is the game I cant stand..

September 2015 went in US embassy to withdraw my passport coz I've waited for how many months and no approval yet. Only to find out my case file has been sitting in the corner ...no one reviewed my medical result. to make the story short, I took medical again for the second time , then after a my medical result released, I have my visa on my hands.

It has been almost 30 business days since I submitted my DS261 and my IV fees still not invoiced. How much longer do I need to wait?

i have the same issue. i have called NVC for this matter and it is not 30 CALENDAR DAYS but 30 BUSINESS DAYS which means 6 weeks and not 4 weeks of waiting. you can only count monday to friday excluding saturday and sunday. if i have set my experience as an example. i submitted the DS261 on june 4th but it never got into NVC system until june 16th so counting 30 business days after that, i should be hearing from them july 28th 6 weeks after and not july 16th. patience is the key here and that's all we can do. i feel like the NVC people are untouchable and unapproachable. they are not that helpful and not willing to expound to answer your inquiry. you will be on hold for 30 minutes but only talk to the person in less than one minute.

Last week Friday which was 30business days my hubby called and asked to speak with a supervisor who promised to unlock the IV on Monday or Tuesday. Got the IV bill on Monday as promised but wasn't available online for payment till Wednesday which makes it 33 business days. I guess NVC is really backlogged but you might call and ask to speak with a supervisor, keep calling till you speak with a supervisor.

So far no supervisor will speak to us but we keep trying.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

That seems like too long. I would call them.

NVC are quoting 30 >>>working<<< days for all ds261 reviews - to get to the point where they will invoice the IV fee etc.

We are on day 28 today so I shall be ringing NVC next tuesday (day 30) if the IV fee isn't there to pay etc.....

There is little point in ringing before that as all you will get will be the standard reply "30 working days..."

Don't forget that 4 July was not a working day so add +1 to the waiting days which will take you to next Tuesday July 29...

The NVC is a sub-contractor (serco?) call-centre with a high volume workload throughput.

Hence their answers are stock replies and they want you off the phone asap for the next call.

Having worked in high volume call-centres, I truly feel sorry for those operators who have to deal with callers anger/frustration/despair etc etc - call after call after call......

I never had luck talking to a supervisor all I hear is no one is available now but we can put in a request for a suprvisor to call you back. 4 days have passed and no call yet.

So far no supervisor will speak to us but we keep trying.

Same here I even tried calling at different times with no luck.
