Hello,

This morning I tried to schedule my visa appointment online for the Frankfurt Consulate.

At the end I got the following message: "Your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. Your will receive an email once your request is approved".

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the approval email?

Hmm...for China, we got immediate confirmation...I thought.

I was able to book it, and print the confirmation page right away.

Must be different in Frankfurt.

Hi, in case your question is refering to the procedures in Frankfurt, Germany (you stated Costa Rica as your country), here's a thread I started a few weeks ago: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/501556-frankfurt-germany-new-interview-scheduling-procedure-for-k1s/#entry7081356

This is was for a K1, though so I'm not sure if the same procedure would apply to a CR1. Hope this helps!

we got this message today too, after getting a letter from the consulate today which says "we invite you to log on to your account and schedule an appointment for a visa interview."

so, how long did it take for you to get an e-mail from them and how long did you have to wait for the actual interview? do they set an appointment, or can you select the appointment which suits you best?
