How long does AOS take?

Hi All,

I'm just wondering if someone could give me a rough guideline about how long it takes from getting married and submiting your Adjustment of Status application till you permanent rescidency? It's a little hard wading through all the infomation on the USCIS website at times.

Also, I understand that now in the interim period you can apply for leave to work and 'parole' allowing you to leave the US and return while that AOS process is going on, does anyone have any experience of how long that takes?

From what visa? From K-1, up to a year for GC. Stop gap employment and travel permission approved in 90 days.
