Legally as an LPR you are required to report all address changes to USCIS. I assume you already filed your application and since you moved within the same state it shouldn't affect your application. They require you to be living in the same state or district for at least 3 months, but again since you moved within same state, it shouldn't be an issue. You have to call customer service and report your new address otherwise all of your application related things will be sent to your old address. It shouldn't slow down the process, but I have seen it happen. Customer service can clarify if it will affect your eligibility in any way, but you do have to report your new address.

I did changemy address too. I reported my new address online, but customer service is not so helpfull. I reported mynew address online and called customer service to make sure everything is ok on my N400 pending application. I was told that notning can be done because online updates take 30 days and i have to call them in 30 days. I moved in the same county so i think it should not affect my 3 month residency.

Any advices if anything else can be done? Do i need to speak to tier 2?

Yeah customer service sucks. I'm not sure if by reporting it online, it reports the change to any pending application. Maybe someone else can chime in and clarify. I'm on my phone now, I'll try checking with uscis website when I get home later.

On the online tool there was a question for pending applications. I hit yes and i was asked to enter receipt number. Not sure how accurate are these systems though.... Had to go with the update via the phone may be...

Oh that's interesting, I didnt know you could do that. If you did it that way, then you're fine. Just make sure that you entered your case number correctly, did you get a confirmation? You can always call again and make sure they have the correct address, but it sounds like you're good to go.
