Seems like some people are willing to overlook it when a white person wipes out a small family. This article is about a white man,not Chicago, not black people, why are we talking about them? That attitude was plenty prevalent in this dude, but we're focusing on Chicago. Why?

And that's the issue.

Here I've noticed that only the motley crew can make it about race and get away with it. It's okay to talk about the denizens of Chicago, or how savage, broke, lazy, or ignorant black people are, even when it's not about us at all. No one on that side of the fence calls out the blatant racism. It's either ignored or fed into. At least a few of the liberal members will say something. Quite a few folks make it about race, more than me, but myself and Janelle are the ONLY ones called out about it consistently when we point it out.

This isn't at you in particular, but I'm just saying why can't folks just say, "hey, this isn't about Chicago or black people, let's stay on topic" or "let's not bring race into this and stick to the original story." It shouldn't be on the sole black people to call it out and then get called out for calling it out. If all of us worked together, it would be a lot smoother here.

And we know who they are. But it wouldn't hurt for the tolerant right(since we're called intolerant left) to address this. Maybe hearing it from members of their own clubhouse could do some good.

For sure. I WILL give them the benefit of the doubt that they think it would deter future crime. Its a conceptual thing that has no historical or current basis of being true. And its an easy easy easy thing to prove. Europe should be overrun with murderers since they don't employee the death penalty on any level. But they're not, which means these people are wrong, end of debate. Wrong!

I've seen a few folks get reported and action follows. But it's on this side. The only person who I'd considered a conservative and not a blatant racist was Postmaster. He called it and reported it. We tussled, but it never got racial. Which is why when he used to bash Obama, I knew race had nothing to do with it.

It is likely he was in deep sedation, like someone undergoing colonoscopy, and the lay people/reporters who may or may not have witnessed what occurred are assuming that deep breaths, irregular breathing, etc. are signs of suffering. All I am saying is not necessarily.
