So I just filled the Choice of Agent form. What's next?

Like I said, I filled the Choice of Agent form, I'm waiting to pay the $88 fee, it's not letting me right now. My question is; my mother lives in the Dominican Republic, will she have to sign any document and send it to the NVC herself? I've heard she will, can somebody explain that?. Thanks

They're doing the choice of agent form online now right? I think that she would have had to sign if it was paper. You are the petitioner so any and all documents should be sent by you. She would need to get some stuff on her end like the original and recent papel de buena conducta, the copy of her cedula and passport. Also you need the original acta de nacimiento in extensa, legalizada y apostillada for you and her. You can't pay for the fee until they send you the invoice which contains the number you need and instructions to pay for it, which you should get in a week or maybe longer.

By the way you posted under family of LPR, you need to post under family of USC's. I was confused for a second because I was like since when can LPR's petition their mothers, I know it was possible a long time ago, so I've heard lol.
