K-1 Visa Mexico: Consular Interview appointment letter?

My fiancee has her interview appointment scheduled in Juarez for August 5. On http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/MEP%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf it gives the list of things to take to the interview:

1. A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S.

(unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions)

2. Original birth certificate

3. Original marriage certificate (if applicable)

4. Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor

5. Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16

(Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older.) Details on obtaining police certificates can be found at

6. Medical examination (Vaccinations are optional.) See the attached instructions for medical exams.

7. Evidence of financial support (Form I-134). Additionally, an affidavit of support might be requested.

8. Two (2) 2x2 photographs for each applicant. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements.

9. Evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary (a).

10. Proof of the petitioner’s U.S. citizenship. This might include a birth certificate or U.S. passport.

11. Receipt of payment for USD$240 for each applicant through either the online system or from any BANAMEX or SCOTIA bank branch.

13. Confirmation of online submission of form DS-160 for each applicant.

14. If you have obtained non-immigrant visas to enter the United States (i.e. tourist visa, Laser visa, student visa), bring those visas with you

Number 12 is Consular Interview Appointment Letter. What is this? And Where do we get a copy of it? Can we print out the email that says "Confirmación de Cita Programada" and use this or is it something else?

That is the form they are asking for

It is the letter that you should receive from the embassy/consulate, it has an statement that says " PRESENT THIS LETTER AT YOUR INTERVIEW, if you do not, you will be turned away"

Number 12 is Consular Interview Appointment Letter. What is this? And Where do we get a copy of it? Can we print out the email that says "Confirmación de Cita Programada" and use this or is it something else?

Hi,

You should have received the letter from the consulate which is required for your fiance's interview. If you have not received it, then you should be able to ask for it at the consulate and they can print a copy for you. At least, this is what I have read in many other threads.

By the way, I have one question for you:

(1) Where did your fiance get the Police Reports/Clearance in Mexico?

My fiancee had her interview yesterday and her visa was approved!!

She had to go early because we never received appointment letter from the consulate. We called and got the information on how to set an appointment and then went to the information window early and they printed out this paper in about 10 minutes.

(1) Where did your fiance get the Police Reports/Clearance in Mexico?

We didn't even try to get any of the police reports because of how hard it is to find them and it says they are unavailable on the website http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/MX.html

While they were gathering the paperwork before the interview portion, they asked her if she had ever committed a crime and she said no. They never asked for the police certificates

can someone help me please? I scheduled my interview for the K1 visa for my fiance but I do not have the CONSULAR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT LETTER (fiance is a Mexican national). I already paid the fee and scheduled the ASC Biometrics appointment too. What do I do? Should I just reschedule my interview for a later date until the damned letter comes in the mail, or should I gamble and hope that the letter is sent between now and June 5th. My case has said READY on the CEAC page since April 29th. I am so sick of this confusing process. Sorry, I cannot fill out my timeline at this time.
