50 Days! That really sucks. Did you get a 221(g)? We're still in AP...because of a 221(g) for Hong Kong Police Clearance that was mailed to the Embassy on 7/9 - they say that they still don't have it!!! My wife had her interview on 7/25 - they said "Approved" but - we need the HK PC before we'll issue the visa.

Not sure if it will help...but, you might want to try to get some help from your Congressman? Even with that, the people at the Embassy will give them a basic response...we're reviewing the file!

Hope things change soon for you and yours! Good Luck!

Well 50 days is nothing I have 4 months in ap.

And I have met people in this forums that are 1, 2 ,3 years in ap and more.

Ap is a black hole, they have my passport now 4 months, I though that if they kept my passport , they were going to send me my passport quick, but no

Well they kept my passport and it is 4 months now my interview was good and no 221 g was given, never I had problems with the justice, never I tried to go to usa.

Ap is a black hole, who knows if we are going to get the visa. One thing is sure, ap end when they wanted.

Nothing we can do, calls, letter, e-mails, congressman , senator all that is useless, all the time you get the same answer: case is under ap and need to wait.

well im not falling into their black hole without fighting for my fiancee, i will email, fax, call, and do anything i can, so they dont forget us!!! this is so lazy and wrong of them!!!! I went to that embassy in Manila, its supposed to be open till 430 pm, i was there at 1 pm and every consular was long gone!!!!!! so they could be staying 3 more hours ever day, working on these "AP" cases!!!!! They are lazy and could care less about us. I hope someday they feel the pain of not being with a loved one. might change their attitude.

AP can be 2 days, 2 years or anything in between. The HK COC is a common AP trap. If HK really did issue it and you have been jerked around for more than 30 days, go to your Congress Member. They have phone numbers to call that we don't have.
