Hi all we went for our interview today and they said our visa is approved and expect to receive it in a week. I check our ceac status and still READY. Its supposed to be issued right?

Yes. Did any agency help you with your papers? As I process my visa b4 i was helped by an agency in cebu and that agency was already registered in the embassy. Once they told me I was approved they know already where to deliver my visa.

Yes but give it a few days as they don't ISSUE it the same day unless it's an expedited case.

As noted by Yannix, USEM doesn't normally update ceac status to ISSUED on the same day of the interview. Unless they're doing any further background checks, it takes a few business days after the interview for an immigrant visa to be updated to issued.

My CEAC status turned "issued" an hour after my embassy interview. My husband was monitoring it like a hawk so when I got home from the embassy and opened Skype he was the one who told me.

Thanks to all. They did not ask anything in me. According to the american consul they got everything they need. At last window the lady greeted me and told me that our visa has been approved and we shall wait to be deliver at home in a week.

It means that's the time someone touched your case file. Yours should have an update (except during the weekends). Mine's date changed almost everyday even though is says "issued" all the time. Check my timeline (yellow arrow below).

Don't panic yet, its been a few days pa lang naman since your interview. Give it another couple of days.

Basta sa window 72 sinabi ng nandun na approve na visa namin at hintayin o deliver s house in 1 week at papauwiin na kami so we left right away just right now had sipped in na wala pala kaming form ng 2go.

Didn't you reschedule your interview date? When you reschedule you will be prompted to fill out a 2go delivery/pick-up form.

If you filled out the 2go form online, you won't be asked to fill out another at the embassy.

Apple21 its me again. Our visa is status in ceac july 28 to present is issued. Last updated july 30. I track with ustraveldocs and my dashboard says: your passport is still with embassy/consulate from yor passport still with post. What is this? Been more than a week we went from interview. Hope you have insights about this TIA

It means it didn't go out yet. Give it a few more days. Just track it once a day with 2Go.
