O.k., first poll for me, hope it works....

I haven't decided yet, right now I feel like I'd prefer to keep German citizenship. I will certainly look into dual citizenship requirements, though.

I probably will eventually file for citizenship but I might wait a year or two.... I am able to file for citizenship after April 2008... I guess it all depends on if we have the money or not...

I do plan on keeping my Canadian citizenship too....

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Gary plans to file as soon as he's able, and he will also keep his original citizenship as well from the UK.

October 31, 2016 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

I keep flipping back and forth, ask me in a couple years when I am eligible, I might have made my decision by then. Whatever I decide, my husband is in support of it.

If I do, there is no question that I will keep my Canadian citizenship.

2005/12/21 Visa Interview Date

2006/04/04 Pras' entry into US at DTW

2006/04/15 Church Wedding at Novi (Detroit suburb), MI

2006/05/01 AOS Packet (I-485/I-131/I-765) filed at Chicago

2006/08/23 AP and EAD approved. Two down, 1.5 to go

2006/10/13 Pras' I-485 interview--APPROVED!

2006/10/27 Pras' conditional GC arrives -- .5 to go (2 yrs to Conditions Removal)

2008/07/21 I-751 (conditions removal) filed

2008/08/22 I-751 biometrics completed

The deciding factor on this for me would be the following in all honesty.

If i dont get citizenship...will i still be entitled to social security ( if any ) when i retire, and will i be able to get medical help when older.

When i know the answers to this, then i will decide on what route i will take.

09/04/2004 - I-129F Filed

18th March 2005 INTERVIEW DATE!!! APPROVED!!!!!

4th May 2005 - MARRIED - Two Hearts become One

19/08/2005 - Biometircs appt in Cleveland - 12pm

12/12/2005 - Received AOS Interview Date

23/01/2006 - AOS Interview in Cleveland at 9.30am

Feb 2006 - Got Green Card. Now a perm resident

April 2006 - Found employment with K-mart...better than being jobless

Speaking on behalf of my husband, he intends to seek citizenship here in the States and retaining his Canadian citizenship...that way he'll always be flying home. :)
