Your next step is AOS (Adjustment of Status), so your new spouse can get her green card. You can also apply for AP (Advance Parole, which is a travel document) and EAD (Work permit). EAD and AP are optional, you can file for them if you are going to need to travel or work before the green card arrives.

When you file for AOS there is a $1070 fee. If you file for EAD and AP with your AOS submission, you don't have to pay for either ED or AP fees.

You can find guides and the list of requirements for each one of them on the guide section of the forum.

Follow this guide for AOS > http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

The fees for the I-765(EAD-work authorization) and I-131(AP-advance parole for travel) are waived when filed with a pending I-485, so include both of those too. It takes about 60-90 days to receive the EAD/AP combo card, which will allow you to work(along with an SSN) and re-enter the US when traveling abroad while waiting for the green card approval.

You need all the supporting documents for each form as well, so read the instructions for each one. You can also search here on VJ for what to include with each form if you get stumped. There are also example forms here on VJ you can look at when filling out the forms. They can be helpful.

Oh, and here are the details you need about whether or not you need to see a civil surgeon > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

1. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html;jsessionid=KLWKTRNN0KmxhfvrYG7TRH0FQ1tNBdMW1pJsdJ1Rd1KZvLrxhBn2!-887765640

enter his details and then print out the page that comes up as you'll need a hard copy for SSN etc. The I-94 number will also be on that page for you to use on the I-485 form.

2. I put "K-1 Visa Holder" in status and for the date I entered the date on the stamp I was given at POE.
