Has anyone filed or currently filing a visa for their dominican spouse? I heard NVC is super behind on them. If you already got approved by nvc how long was the wait time?

Nothing except a case number happens for K3 at the NVC. Do you mean CR1 where there is document intake at the NVC?

If you are saying that you received a notification stating that your I-130 application was routed to the Vermont Service Center, then you still need to wait for your NOA2 which will vary depending on the current processing time for that service center.

NVC - National Visa Center

After your application is approved at the USCIS (Vermont in your case), you will move on to the next step at the NVC. There are various guides here in VJ that explain with great detail the whole process and what is required for each step.
