Thought I'd update all the other frustrated petitioners out there providing you with an update of the TSC. I contacted USCIS today 7/22/14 and the representative stated that they are currently processing petitions dated December 17th, 2013 and based on my Feb 21 2014 NOA1 she estimated another 2 months. :ranting:

This is how they make us quiet. Dec 17, 2013 WAS being processed as of May 31, 2014. That data is almost 2 months old. By that logic they should already be in mid Feb by now. But they are not. Why? Because they are getting even SLOWER, if that is even possible.

My fiance and I were really hoping he could be here in March or early April. We filed July 2. That should be more than enough time, even with London being his embassy. This is absolutely ridiculous. At this rate I'll be lucky he gets here before 2016. Honestly, the MOMENT our petition goes over 5 full months I am making a ruckus. I am not sure why, in today's technological age, this still moves so slow. There's some days I get frustrated because I wonder what I pay so much in taxes for.

USCIS keeps saying 'we are receiving a high volume....' You know what my company does when we have too much volume? Overtime. Hire more people. Open a new center. Geezus.

I'm an April filer & my fiancé is from England. I was hoping he'd be here by my birthday-the week before Christmas. And that's not asking too much. 8 months after filing is completely reasonable. ...doesn't look like that'll be happening now. It'll be more like a full year if I can't get government to help me when I hit 5 months. Honestly, I've seem stats where they approved over 3,000 petitions in a month & they've been approving over 8,000 cr1 aps in a month as of late. If they focused for one month, they could get through the entire backlog. It's a huge backlog, but compared to the marriage applications, it's not, cuz there aren't as many of us. They could complete the freaking backlog in a month or two if they tried & then get onto normal processing times. But, they won't. And it upsets me so much.

There are threads about contacting people in this section. If you haven't agreed to help, please do so:) you may be a new filer, but you're just as valid in being upset as everyone else. Because of the backlog, I've had to shell out an extra $3,000 of money I'm saving for when he gets here so I can visit cuz I can't stand this distance. It's not fair. I'm not cut out for long distance. I'm doing it though cuz he's amazing & worth it to me.

Good luck to you...

I am the petitioner.

Ha, I had similar thinking to you: filed in April, thought my fiancee would be able to be here by Christmas. Now that I see the TSC is significantly behind, I am quite skeptical now... Pathetic.

I agree. I have an Aprile filed date..... my Birthday is in December as well and wanted him here... looks like that won't be happening for me either.... so much for our rights as Americans... we trully don't have that much power as society makes us think... how hard can it truly be to review a K1 packet.... grrrrrrr

hey there K1 filers, its not just you stuck in TSC processing delays, its also ir1/cr1 filers too.

if you check our threads, there are still people in Nov waiting their NOA2 approvals.

many of the service centers are so backlogged they have started transferring files to other service centers. such as sending feb filers from NSC to CSC this month.

many of these transferred cases have received approval. frustrating yes! i think the services centers know they're backlogged and feel the heat. we can only pray all the service centers begin to take action and adjust their work load.

pray, pray, pray...that's all we can do.

Hopefully a TSC K1 Visa (Fiancee) Petition for fixing the backlog gets enough signatures so it can more smooth fast process. We need to still get in contact with the huge news stations.
