Embarrassingish question about 3299

So I have a sort of embarrassing-ish question. I'm filling out form 3299 at the moment, the move is in two days. I ran into a problem -- I have a few sex toys that I had planned to ship over, though I'm not sure putting that on the customs form is appropriate, or how I should even go about writing it? Should I just straight up write "sex toys", "adult toys"? Should I just put them in my checked luggage and not ship them?

Hmmm I don't think its a problem. I am sure they see them at security at the airports/road on a regular basis. I don't think its problem shipping them either. I would call them "adult toys". It doesn't mention them in items not to be transported across border. Long as it doesn't look like a weapon! lol

You can put them in your luggage and even in carry on. Make sure to take the batteries out if you do. Be prepared that there is always a possibility that your luggage is inspected, but it's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of anyways.

I am sure they can be shipped as well. Same thing - remove any batteries first and I agree about marking them 'adult toys'

Exactly - as long as you take out the batteries its fine. If you don't feel comfortable taking them in your carry-on, I would just put them in with the rest of your things and you could even label them "personal items" or "intimate items" if you want to be more discreet. They have seen everything and aware that people own and transport adult toys. Nothing to be embarrassed about!

But I get ya - better to ask/see what others have done during their move rather than get caught off guard.
