Did this happen to anyone?

Ok in the first place to all moderators/webmasters;

My apologies if this thread has been placed in the wrong topic.

I really didn’t/don’t know in which topic this question suits/fits/should go too!

All aliens/foreigners had to fill a "G325A" form right?

On that form, you need to fill in which employer(s) you worked for, for the past decade right?

What I kind of wonder is;….does the American government contact your current employer?

Why do I want to know?

Well,….I don’t know if anyone of you all told your current employer about your emigration plans, but I never told them!

Why not?

In the first place; because it’s "private business"

And secondly; I don’t know how other employers in other countries react on that kind of emigration news, but the employers here in The Netherlands / Holland, no matter "how good you are",…they are not really too "keen" on someone who is planning to emigrate!

Why?

Well,….does the phrase "Home, is where your heart is", mean anything to you?

Dutch employers take that phrase usually literal, from their point of view; "if your “heart is with America", then you have no heart for the company no more, so you are no use to us, which means, that they will fire you as soon as they can!

Why?

Even though business like emigrating is "private", they probably will take it as keeping (for the company) vital information infront of you, and they will try to find a way to get rid of you, because of it!

So again, does the American government check out your employer, by notifying/checking out your employer about your emigration plans?

Or do they check that out in a different way?

Did the plausible described situation above actual happen to someone?

Or did anyone experience major/bad American Government research consequences?

Many thanks in advance.

Mark (F) .

Ps.

Don’t worry, my employer has NOT fired me,……...yet,…but I am kind of afraid, that as soon as the American government is going to check out my current employer, and my employer on their turn finding out about my emigration plans, that they might fire me over it!(keeping for the company vital information infront of you)

Finding another job wont be a problem though,….its just the extra hassle, you know ontop of everything else!

Finding a job never really been a problem though, I mean my Looove and I filed the I-129F only a couple weeks ago, and I already got a contract set with an American (Texan) employer, which will be activated as soon as I get an SSN#!!! ;):D:P

I just submitted my I-129F and I know that we provided addresses only - while I can't say for sure that they wont contact you, if they had that intent I'm sure they would have wanted more information (such as a phone number, the name of your boss etc).

I hope that helps (F)

My employer knew of my plans (seeing as we had a staff of 5, it's kinda hard not to!), and as far as I know, she was not directly contacted.

My fiacne's employer was never contacted and his employer is based out of the US..he worked on a cruise ship and the main office is out of Miami, FL...so they would not have to have called overseas but they never contacted them. So I dont think there is any need to worry.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

TRUE STORY!

Natalie was keeping a careful secret that she was seeing an American. She has to answer some intrusive questions why she needed time off of work. Like...Do you not need the money? Do we pay you too much???

Well, when I visited her in December, who sat behind us in the train?!? Her boss, her plant manager, and her technical director! The cat was out of the bag!

Kinda ironic...I just explained the english phrase "The cat is out of the bag" the night before. She also showed me photos of these people and here they were sitting behind us on the train!

Hehe, I was drunk with her plant manager before noon! I don't think my liver has been the same since!

At most, i would suspect the randomly cross-reference where you say you worked, with things like tax information for inconsistencies.... and i doubt they check every one or every person either

Edit: wow i can spell... sometimes spell check makes me feel really stupid, and english is my primary language!
