I have been using Kayak, but mor recently found best travel store and for me and my daughter to go to Morocco in April is just over $1200. You may want to try it. You are not too far from me, and I got that price flying out of Atlanta. Might be worth the drive if the price is right. www.bt-store.com

wow that last one gave me the cheapest so far. I've been averaging about $1,300 for egypt from june 28 to july 7 but that site gave me $1,100 and some change. Not too shabby. I'll have to keep my eye out for that site from now on.

I just checked kayak and flights for Alger came up $1085 fares found on cheaptickets.com using American Airlines, then Turkish Airlines and returning on Delta... I mean the price is not bad, but still too many stops. Going from my city Detroit, to Chicago then to Istanbul then to Alger. 2 whole days of travel 46 hours of travel Woa alot!

For those who don't like long flights and don't like to pay too much money, going to Morocco is pretty affordable (not at all times) with RAM (RoyalAirMaroc.com). If you're flexible enough, you could find tickets for $689 from JFK to CMN for like Jan 27 coming back a week after. I was also able to find some other dates pretty cheap. Don't pick end of the week and select "within 3 days" option.

If you speak only English, first of all select the language in the top left corner.

They also are supposed to have deals every Wednesday late at night. If I'll go back, I'll go with them again, a little more expensive then others, but a direct non-stop flight, wich is great!

Good luck!

I wish I lived on the east coast. Living on the west coast, I have approximately just over 17 hours of flying time to get to Cairo. And there's no non-stop from here either. Ugh.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

I really need a map. I thought we were both pretty much the same distance. My mom's just as bad 'cause she keeps asking me when those Egyptians built the Panama Canal. :jest:

Hahaha :D

Well, it would take me about 5+ hours to fly to where you are.

My geography isn't the greatest either but I'm working on it.

I actually flew to Boston 6 or so years ago and it wasn't too bad. But then flying on to Germany and then on to Cairo. Blah. :P
