My husband received his work authorization/advance parole combo card in late March. We didn't notice until May when he went to get his drivers license that there was a typo that had the expiration date the same as the issue date. He didn't get a license that day and after contacting Immigration, we had to send the card back. We supposedly had an expedite on the case, but 2 months later we are still waiting on that card. We called over 3 weeks ago and were told it would take 2 more weeks. Still nothing.

Today I got on USCIS website to get the number and noticed that his GC status was that they ordered production of his new card. So we assume the GC is being issued, but do we still need the EA or will the GC be his authorization to work?
